Checked online for a product that I needed and showing available in Woodies Kilkenny for click and collect.Drove to the shop and no stock on the shelves. Asked for assistance and was told that they had 6 of the item in stock but not on the shop floor. Assistant refused to go through to the back to source the item as it would take her too long to find it !!Plenty staff wandering around the shop and chatting to each other but not available to help customers, shockingly bad customer service, zero respect.30 minutes and fuel wasted to be treated like crap by shop staff.
Rude and uninformed.Recently visited Store in Athlone.I was looking for advice on weedkiller and was directed to the on.site Horticulturist.While trying to explain my weed problem he" unnamed " Horticulturist became agitated and frustrated. I again tried to explain the problem to which he pointed me to hand tools . I was looking to find the best weedkiller spray as the area is unsuitable for hand tools . Eventually he said they had nothing suitable and walked off leaving me feel like I'd done something wrong. I was going to report him to management but I'm not easily prone in doing such a thing but I feel it needs highlighting here.This member of staff needs to be sat down by management and told of his responsibilities to his job and customers otherwise should not be working there.
Purchased from Woodies Turners Cross Cork back end of June’24 a rug which is not stocked in house. 01 July received an email from the branded company of the item I purchased to advise unavailable & a refund would be processed by Woodies 24 July after several phones calls & emails & been passed from person to person in house in Woodies Cork & still no refund and no one taking ownership. Took my payment no issue from me back end of June & now almost end of July and haven’t return my payment Great Morals Woodies
Was in Dundalk Store yesterday had queries re roller paint brush & stapler.I met two exceptional members of staff Ciara & Louise.They sorted out my difficulties with such patience & kindness. Also their product knowledge excellent. Two excellent ambassadors for Woodies.Well done Ciara & Louise.👏👏👏Marie Monagher
I ordered 2double sockets for click and collect in swords. They were listed as in stock and available. I got a call telling me they were out of stock and I was being refunded. I went online again and ordered a different 2 sockets. Which also showed as available for collection. I then got another call telling me the items were out of stock and I was being refunded.Thats me done with woodies click and collect . The service is obviously not fit for purpose.
Was there at around 4pm. Happened to bring a plant with no label to the till. The circus I went through... Utja, I think her name was was, asking me how much it was, then she asked customer service by raising plant into air without lifting her derrier. The blond old looking wooman with aa pony tail from 30m away identified the nasturcium I was buying as sweet peas. They were trying to overcharge me and kept telling me it was a right code though it was not. Had to go and find label myself. On the way out 3 lady workers were smoking right in front of the store (like Woodies dont have a back yard ir smoking area)? The older blond woman was among them. When she saw me she started telling her collegues that things are wrong with me. The attitude from 3 staff was disgusting. None of them care about customer service or their jobs.
