Terrible online shopping experience.For example, I’ve been trying to buy a leaf blower. Every one I’ve looked at is listed as “collection only,” yet when I check in-store availability, none of the stores actually have it in stock. What a complete waste of time advertising products that aren’t available anywhere.Eg: ProCut Powerful Petrol Blower Vac 26cc&ProPlus Petrol Blow Vac with Shredding Function 26cc
Awful service. I ordered an airfryer. Got an email to say it was ready for collection. When my son went to collect he was told it was out of stock.I phoned and was originally told that I did not receive an email to say it was ready for collection. When I refuted this I was put on the phone to the manager. He said it was an error.Waste of petrol, time and tried to blame me!!!
Ordered alot of things online, Halloween decorations, paint gravel, for click and collect, paid in full, got a call to say didnt have a load of decorations, they would refund..fine, partner went to collect , the quality of the decorations are desperate, some of glasses missing parts and the collection stickers stuck right on glasses and fabric and heads of decorations, like stickers that don't peel off clean so there's glue and paper residue all over them, maybe , they should put stickers on tags that are on items... I spent 260 euro, instead on dumping items on counter, maybe offer a paper bag? Customer Service should really be worked on , I wont be ordering again if im honest,

A very professional and very member of staff hence one of the reasons I’m a regular customer. All staff here including Ivan, Hugh and others are always very helpful.
Placed an order online that did not arrive, when I contacted Woodies customer service they said they would " revert to me" when they received a response from Fastway Courier. When I contacted them the next day for an update they did not reply. Thankfully my order was only €22.00, that I paid for 3 Dulux testers and not the €250.00 that I paid for the paints I bought elsewhere.
Every year, the scam continues on seasonal products. Mass produced items from China for Halloween & and Christmas, shown at “ full price “ for probably just the exact time before the “ half price sale”. In essence vastly inflating the price to drop it just a week or two later. Today I came across a range of Halloween phones, each item was damaged and flimsy - the price - €60.00. A Quick Look around shows that the pricing is all for show. As even with a third of the price, the item would still not be worth it.
4 hour click and collect took 4 days - Mullingar store. Called the store and was told they had to wait for payment to clear before they could pick the order. This was 2 days later. Got on to head office who managed to get the order pushed through and offered a voucher as an apology. When we went to pick up the item in store, they had no knowledge of the order or the voucher. Completely unprofessional set up and very misleading to advertise 4 hour click and collect.
I had a query on a delivery and couldn't get a response from the courier company. Already had to complain about a B&Q delivery that same day so didn't hold out much hope hope when I contacted Woodies for help with my order. I couldn't have been more surprised to receive a very pleasant and helpful response within about 20 minutes. I then received a thank you when I acknowledged their assistance, so 2 messages within 30 minutes from Woodies and 48 hours later no response from B&Q. I know where I will be shopping from now on. Thank you Woodies for actually providing real customer service.
I'm finished with woodies Newbridge. Some of them think they own the store.Made a complaint today with head office and they put me onto the store. I spoke to a guy by the name of Anthony who was also very rude. Customer service is my work of business but they have no customer service ethic. Will never shop there again as they don't treat customers the way they should. No wonder why shops are closing down when your treated like dirt
Went to Swords(Seatown) for a lawnmower. Did my research before hand and was 90% sure which model I was going to purchase. Store colleague (male) when asked a few questions was of zero help. When asked about where is the oil is located just pointed and offered no assistance. I Delighted with the mower after the first cut and think it is excellent value. B&Q is miles ahead in customer service but the value in Woodies was better.
