This is an ongoing problem so if someone at wowcher can resolve this ASAP that would be great!

We received a voucher for Christmas and the whole process of redeeming it has been utterly frustrating!! This has been going on for over a month and it's still not resolved. It really is ridiculous and based on this I would not recommend wowcher to anyone. We're probably going to miss our stay.

For the details:
We were given a wowcher gift at Christmas for Chessington World of Adventures Resort. I signed up for this on 27th December, but was unable to book a date as it said the code was not recognised. I kept trying, same thing. I eventually changed to a Friday checkin (not Sunday which has no added cost) and had to pay £10 extra for this. My money was taken and response was I would receive an email confirmation in 3 days. That was on 16th January and no response was received. Since then I have been back and forth with wowcher WhatsApp chat and on email with a team they forwarded my response on to. However, I am still waiting to have my stay at Chessington booked (which is now due to be happening this Friday 27th Feb). Anytime I email the team I get 'thanks for your patience......., please wait for a response in 3 working days'. And I get nothing so I email again. WhatsApp message told me a few days ago it was booked (for the wrong date), and had I not received confirmation from Chessington. I did not, and when I called Chessington they said there was no booking under my name or code! At this rate we're going to miss the cut off for booking this gift. I am at a loss with what to do.

Most infuriating is money was taken out of our account over a month ago for the Friday night check in, yet we are still not actually booked in! And after numerous messages we were told we're booked in but Chessington still have no booking! Such time wasting.

even though it was via PayPal there was no way of getting a refund
dont be deceived by this company , the complex redemption process just led to a dead QR code and says redeemed.

BEWARE!! Do not purchase any Wowcher holidays. They are linked to scam travel companies that advertise nice hotels as click bait. They then offer bizarre flight times that actually don’t exist as I checked on google and sky skanner - no such flights ! Wowcher have been ignoring my messages of complaint and request for refund. So far no holiday and no refund. No holiday has been booked or confirmed as Prime Holidays clear stated they could not fulfill the holiday advertised without me paying extra. Which I won’t be doing! Wowcher I would like a refund within the 14 day cooling off period. Wowcher have again today ignored my messages and emails.

This company is a rip off merchant they are happy to take your money but do nothing to make sure you get your merchandise. Like many l'm out of pocket. This is also true of softkeycart limited who act in the same manner with regard to helping you. I received software and an activation key that I could not access due to a detected virus in the email they sent. I complained and again no response. These companies are not trustworthy to buy from.

Wowcher really need to look into who they partner with i purchased a break away for just under £600 with my husband to then redeem the voucher from wowcher to be able to be passed onto the holiday company. This is when it gets messy and wowcher wash their hands with you. When contacting the holiday company you do not get what you pay for initially and constantly up the price and then turn around to tell you your original booking is no longer available to then ask for more money. This is just a money making scam for the holiday company. When I refused to make any extra payments and want the holiday I originally purchased the company do nothing to help and keep redirecting you to wowcher. I am not one to give up and in constant contact with wowcher and the holiday company recording phone calls and keeping all emails ready to report them as I am still within my 14 day consumer rights to get a full refund if this does not happen I will be taking a legal route on wowcher and the holiday company what a disgrace both company's are.

The worst service/ customer service i have ever experienced, ordered furniture.. never received any tracking info nothing, requested info on my order so many times and all they do is ignore you. 2 weeks past delivery date still no sign of my order no tracking information nothing. Took me about a week of texting every day requesting my money back to finally get a refund.. I would never again order anything from them and my advice is stay away!
