A Must-Have For Stress Relief!!

Never really had issues with anxiety until recently. Serving in the military made me think I was immune. Then, outta nowhere, anxiety levels shot up, leaving me clueless. BetterMood was a game changer. It helped me understand my brain like never before. Highly recommend to anyone, no matter how tough you think you are.

Don't get lured in!

I was stupidly lured in by an Instagram advert and thought I would see what it was like. I did day 1's task which should have taken 15 mins and only took about 2 mins and forgot all about it until I received an email from PayPal. This was to confirm the pending payment. After a bit of struggle trying to find the log in button, I scoured the page to find a cancel button. No luck, all I could do was email them. I emailed and have been told they cannot refund me as my trial has ended. From my initial sign up I can see today is day 7 at most and now I cannot get the money back from a service I have not used nor will ever use. I have no emails from better mood to inform me that my trial was coming to an end or to entice me to log back into my account. I have only ever received one email which was to say my plan was ready. I don't know what they had planned as I could never see the outline. Overall I don't think the website is very user friendly and it's just a trap waiting to happen.I have now raised a dispute with PayPal in hopes of getting a refund due to the failed service.

No way to cancel your subscription…

No way to cancel your subscription through the app or website. They entrap you by charging for a full year and do not offer a refund. Avoid

Terrible App to be able to use

I did the quiz on Facebook to interest me in this which was really good. The app itself isn’t anything like the initial quiz and really there was Nothing much new in days 1-3 that I didn’t already know but that’s just my opinion. The real reason for 3 stars is There doesn’t seem to be an unsubscribe or leave trial or quit option anywhere. It’s completely user unfriendly there isn’t even a button to sign out. There is just a button for settings which tells you to email them, the plan itself and a button to talk to a coach. This gave me more anxiety than I had signing up to the free trial as you can’t cancel anytime if there is no button to cancel. I’m not sure if it’s meant to be so rubbish in order to keep your money or whether whoever developed it just isn’t very good but either way don’t sign up as it’s not easy to cancel They did refund me after I emailed them and left a review on here. Whether I would have had a response as quickly had I not left a trustpilot review remains to be seen. They then asked me to edit my review which I have and you can have 3 stars now but I just think it’s unclear and misleading

Misleading and predatory business practices - AVOID!

EDIT: PayPal closed the case in my favour, giving me a full refund. Don't be afraid to escalate your dispute if Better Mood ripped you off too!I was having an unusually downer morning and scrolling through Instagram (my first mistake) when I saw an ad for Better Mood (BM), which professed to provide me with a "personalised anxiety treatment program" of digital resources. I completed the introductory survey (including a question about whether or not I liked accountability, which triggered BM to tell me that I had opted in to having a personal online coach).Once I had provided my payment details, I was able to explore the small amount of resources I was provided with and found them immensely unsatisfactory. Even though BM claims the program is tailored to each person's experiences (through the use of machine learning algorithms... thanks, AI) and based on survey results, I quickly found that the resources were far too basic and general to be of any real use - significantly worse than the ads made them seem.Furthermore, the whole business model is based on a faulty premise - that you can have a lifetime anxiety treatment plan based on a 7-minute survey. There is no way to alter your program or opt out of having a personal coach (which I immediately realised I did not want). My program was based on answers from a single bad morning - hardly suitable for building lifelong habits. This is a predatory business practice designed to prey on those with anxiety, as is the choice to bury the refund information behind a block of text and a single email address.Lastly, I received no email reminders about the conclusion of my free trial, including the fact that I would be billed $57 USD (an abominable amount of money for the "program" provided). Finding the service vastly different to the glowing way it was described, to the point of being useless, I requested a full refund through PayPal, as well as the deletion of all my personal data. So far, I have only been offered a partial refund, purely "to resolve this matter amicably", with no address of my complaints. I advise you to save your time and money and take your business elsewhere.

My experience wasn't good with Better Mood. Avoid!

My experience wasn't goodI subscribed after answering a questionnaire that led me to a 7-day trial. Of course, I wanted to give it a go. The thing is, I couldn't find a link, email, or any way to connect with the site after subscribe the trial. So after a few days, I didn't receive any emails about the end of the trial or could access the page where my subscription appeared to be already canceled. I've tried to contact them by email, and the responses were pretty much the same, even after I tried to explain that there was no way to unsubscribe or find a trial cancellation option anywhere. It seems they made this difficult on purpose. I suffer from severe anxiety and tried to deal with them by e-mail. I felt distressed and hopeless after tons of emails begging to unsubscribe me and refund me. And the answers were pretty standard, refusing to refund me. At that point, I just stopped and felt my anxiety level at its highest. If the organizers take this seriously, why are there so many complaints about the same topic? Why turn so difficult to refund if the client clearly state not intending to use your program by the time the 7 days trial end? Thank you
