Review Time
Web site said 2-3 days delivery, which thought was fine give london location, however took over a week, so it came from Ireland!! and a part was missing, fortunately a important part, reported it via the Web site but only contact so far is this request for a review. As they say its easy to get poor reviews. Was able to use for holiday though.Also delivery tracker hard to follow as dates not in chronological order.
Awful customer service Misinformation on the weights ratings shownAwful delivery serviceFor example I bought a roof rack rated for 75kg, when the item arrived the manually only stated 60kg. Now through customer service they have quoted 50kg. Not only is this dangerous as you could overload your roof rack and cause a serious crash, but it’s also illegal. I have reported this company (and micks garage as they are the same company) to the trading standards authorities and hope many others do as well. Do not use this company or micks garage!!
Firstly carracks claims to be a London based company, ordered only to find out it was coming from a different company in Ireland (micks garage)Received automated Initial email notifying of delay in shipping, followed by further email regarding customs charges. No response when i replied querying delayed delivery/ customs so had to purchase duplicate item elsewhere (actually this time from within the UK!)as tracking still showed in ireland (was going on holiday and needed the rack be end of week (ordered the previous week). When item arrived i immediately tried to fill in online returns, to which the form would not work. Ended up finding the other irish website and submitted a returns request and heard nothing - radio silence. Currently have an unopened parcel i need to return for refund and looking like im stuck £350 out of pocket as no response at all Fuming.Absolute shambles - dishonest with company & location & substandard communication. Avoid like the plague..
Advert pictured a London base which doesn't exist. Advert said 48 hour delivery but item came from Eire and took 2 weeks to arrive, disrupting our plans. No response to emails, listed phone number did not work, zero customer service. Fortunately - unlike some other customers posting here - it did arrive in the end. I really hope we don't have to call on the guarantee. Best avoid this company.
