.. despite having the email confirmation, barcode/collection code and my drivers licence. Was told the whole Collect+ system was down - then it was suggested I go to another location and take the other parcel I brought with me to drop off, hmmm! Often the same story with petrol stations.-------------------------------Collect+ send a standard reply (see below) asking me to contact them directly, yet provide no suggestion on how. I did so on the website and receive the following reply "Dear Sir/Madam,Thank you for your enquiry. Collect+ cannot assist you any further with your parcel query, please contact your carrier (Yodel etc.) directly or the online retailer (Amazon, ASOS, eBay Very etc)."Dismal.
Fed up of trying to use the PodBack recycling Yodel/Collect+ collection point at a local Shell where they regularly refuse to take the package. Despite following instructions this makes doing the right thing (recycling) very difficult indeed and can't be good for Nespresso or Collect+ whom I suspect both have sustainability targets! To be clear this is not a big package either!
Customer Service abysmal. Presume when it goes right then it's a great service but when it goes wrong its terrible. Agents are just focused on getting you off the chat, probably handling multiple chats at once considering one response had someone else's name in and was not actually relevant or accurate to my issue. They dont actually answer the question asked and fob you off with a, we will update this or that on the website within 48 hours... or tell me to wait for an update until 2 hours after their support lines are closed... had that once a few times now and without fail have had to contact the next day again. First and last time I will use their service when I have a choice. Advice of the day... If you have a choice between collectplus and another, even if it seems collectplus is the quick convenient option, think again because you will probably spend more time trying to sort the mess they have made out
I tried 3 drop off shops and they were all full so I will now have to call back about 4p.m to drop of my items. 2 of the shops shown on the collect + website for my area are closed.Mccolls in Harrogate no longer open, all other shops need more bags for parcels especially on a weekend
Four times now I have been to my local Collect + drop off point ( about a mile away and I normally walk) with parcels to be told they wont accept them. They are always full this seems to happen every weekend they used to put a not on the door which could be visible from a distance but now they don’t even bother. This seems to be a continuous problem for this drop off so unsure why they haven’t found a solution to the the issue. It always seems to be the same two members of staff refusing (are they really full or do these particular staff not want to have the extra workload ? I don’t know why I even bother trying anymore. When I questioned this the issue with another member of staff she said they were full because another collect+ was refusingParcel and they were going to make a complaint about them. Which I disagree as when I am refused from them I go to the other collect+ who are so helpful and accommodating and say they never refuse any customers.
what a palaver, i visited three stores before making a drop off for a parcel, the first two stores said their collections for the day were full and the staff were unhelpful. Iwas left with the impression that they make little money from providing a collection point and don't care about the business or customers. The third store who accepted drop off was goodThank you for a response, the package was the size of a cardboard shoe box and weighed less than one Kg
Four times now I have been to my local Collect + drop off point ( about a mile away and I normally walk) with parcels to be told they wont accept them. Once parcel was too big 17" x 13" x 14" hardly massive! once the machine broken ( not their fault) and twice the bag was full and the van driver will only take the bag no extra parcels :-( The next drop off is another 2 miles which I cannot walk with parcels as I have a bad back. If the shop is doing the job surely they have to take ALL parcels dropped off to them. I have been at other times with no problem but its getting beyond a joke now.
The collect + website/search area should be updated. I went to my closest shop today to send a parcel, only to find d they no longer send Collect + parcels from there.I had to drive over two miles to nearest store. Obviously if I did not drive this would have been more of a hassle.I didnt have a problem with thestore I did use in the end(apart from parking on a main road).

Collect+ is all about the instore experience, we no longer provide end to end parcel services. We are now the entry and exit point for parcels and all queries or comments regarding your parcel journey should be directed to the carrier in the first instance please.
Last year PayPoint acquired Yodel’s 50% stake in Collect+ making it the sole owner of the UK’s largest parcel shop network working with a range of partners: Amazon, DHL, eBay, FedEx, Parcel2Go and Yodel. The Collect+ brand is going through some operational changes which will be of benefit to our customers and our retailers. Any parcel queries from before 1 October 2020 should be referred to Yodel.
The Collect+ store network is made up of 10,000 newsagents, convenience stores, supermarkets and petrol stations, so wherever you are, there’s a good chance that a Collect+ Point is nearby. The majority of Collect+ Points are open 7-days a week, early ’til late, so collecting and sending parcels is easy and convenient.See more
