Italypass.it is half a scam but a scam nonetheless! The modus operandi is to pass off as a legit site selling 24h/72h passes/cards for Italian cities. They're paying the search engines to pop up on top of the search results it seems.I mistook them for official pass for Napoli.Turns out they just give you the official city transport card but charge you x3 (original cost 5€ but they charged me 15€ per person)Then, to make it seem legit, they're packing "additional benefits" but those didn't work for me. This is where the scam comes into play!Their website is very basic and provides no contact numbers.I'll try to give them hell but it's best to just avoid these scamsters.Shame on them for preying on tourists!
It was a disaster! No customer services. We never got the tickets to the Shuttle bus and we had to buy the shuttle tickets from the company at the airport. and when we went to pick up our cards in Milan (Which I was told was right beside the station, but it was actually 15 min walk away) it just said no booking, even though I had my confirmation email. So we needed to go back to the station to buy som other tickets from ATM.it (which worked without any problems!!) Don't lose your money on this scam !
DONT USE THIS SITE! Despite purporting to be an official site of Milan transport, this is a private company. We purchased the 3 day travel card and Duomo card, which clearly states access to cathedral, rooftop, terraces, museum and crypt. We got the rooftop and terraces, NOTHINGelse included. Staff at Duomo say this is a common problem. DONT USE THIS SITE!
Don't waste your money on this, but an easily obtainable travel card in Milan. The kiosk where you get your travel card is not a short distance from the station, the machine didn't dispense a valid card and there is no way of contacting Milano Card. I had to instigate a chargeback with MasterCard to get my money back
On May 25, 2024, I purchased online two tickets for the package “Duomo Milano Combo Stairs + Pinacoteca Ambrosiana” for a total of EUR 66. When I attempted to download the tickets for the Duomo, I got the message “Resource not available”. Despite repeated attempts, we were unable to reach customer service by phone. The ticket office at the Duomo was unable to help and informed us that the Duomo Stairs were sold out for the day and that MilanoCard frequently sells tickets beyond the contingent. My repeated attempts to obtain a refund via MilanoCard customer service elicited nothing but unhelpful responses.
I bought entry tickets to the Duomo in Milan only to find out it was a scam. When I couln't download the tickets on my phonw I appached the tickets office of the Duomo. I showed my phone to the helping person ans before I could even start speaking she immediately said: I'm sorry, you have been scammed. The milanocard website is fake. Working to get my bank block the purchase and get my money back.Very important: the website you first go to is duomomilano.it and the website looks legit, they even brand it as "the official website", but when you go through the payment process it redirects you to milanocard.it.
