Confused and bewildered!!

Bewildered to be honest, I’ve imported a watch a from Japan, and I always pay my importation tax no problem. This time I decided to by a Barbour flat cap for the cold weather: The Hat cost me £29.13 in a sale, £12.99 shipping so in total £42.12. In Euros € 48.34 in today’s conversion. After I paid at my local Correos, IMPORTANT! You don’t get to see the receipt first 😉 if you know what I mean. The receipt they then emailed me said my hat cost €79.00. A whole €30 euros more. I’ve searched for an email address, doesn’t exist. Ive tried to contact Corroes but you know the game. All I want to know is where did they get the €79.00 hat price from. Like I said I’ve bought from Asia and had to prove how much it was and the shipping. So I pay my fair tax, I’m just left with a very bad taste in my mouth and feel ripped off to be honest. This isn’t the email I use for the Correos so if you want to look for yourselves here is the information. Contact me through this and I can give you all the information and copies of receipts to prove you’ve overcharged me. It’s a small amount of money but when accumulated it becomes more. So be very careful ordering things from the UK to Spain. The next time I go back I’ll buy what I need and bring it with me.

TERRIBLE SERVICE

They said I was not home which was a lie. I waited for them all day! Then they delivered my parcel to a drop-off point. They are a terrible company. This has happened several times! Disgraceful service

very bad. I was waiting packet at home full day, at 20 in the evening received a message that they had tried to deliver the packet - they were not. Customer support does nothing. Try to avoid in all costs.

Prompt and efficient

Correos delivered my parcel a day early which might have caused problems as I was staying on a campsite and was out on the bike. However, they followed the instructions and left it when reception. Thank you

"Recipient not at home"

"Recipient not at home" - a lie. I was home all day waiting for an important registered letter. My doorbell works perfectly. Suddenly, I get an SMS saying "delivery failed, recipient absent." I looked out the window and saw the yellow van driving away. The driver didn't even get out of the car! Now I have to waste my morning standing in a queue at the post office to pick it up. Pure laziness.

What an absolute joke

What an absolute joke. A national delivery company that refuses to deliver (it is too much effort to ring a doorbell), loses parcels at an alarming rate, and never comes when they are scheduled. What makes it worse is that they do not respond to messages either. With todays technology it is difficult to understand how they can get it so wrong, is it just incompetence from the top down?

If I could give zero stars

If I could give zero stars, I would. This is the WORST courier experience in my life. The delivery has been scheduled three times, every time they marked “recipient absent” even though I was at home and nobody came! I wonder if they are going to deliver my package at all. Avoid this service at all costs!

Total failure again.

A pension advice slip was sent from my employer in the UK at the beginning of October. It arrived in Spain, sat with Correos with no attempt to deliver it for 2 months, before being sent back to the UK. UK postal service had it back to my employer 48hrs later. Yet another example of utter incompetence.
