BE AWARE, Correos have a new scam. Contacted me to say my parcel could not be delivered because my address is incorrect. My address is correct, but I almost fell for the extra delivery charge. They tried to scam me 26.50 euros to have the parcel delivered but I did not pay it. I now need to report Correos to the Guardia for this attempted scam.They are a complete disgrace.
I'm sending a package to a friend from a more developed part of Europe in Tenerife and packages can only be sent in the summer when it's high season. After the season, the Spanish and their shipping companies, cttexpress, ecoscooting, correos, etc., are useless. They don't deliver anything and act like scammers. They don't care. They get the money and you get nothing. They're lazy.
Absolutely disgusting. I was in front of the door, all of the order details and address were on the information, my telephone number, and I got a message that "The delivery was attempted but couldn't be delivered". I WAS IN FRONT OF THE DOOR, and I didn't see anyone! Same problems as SEUR, same disrespect for customers, and lack of professionalism!
State owned company filled with state bureaucrats that could not be mor inefficient. What a drag on the economy this company is. The funcionarios are even more bureaucratic than Spanish government workers. Where is the competition? Where is the EU that demanded liberalisation of services? This company should die.
Brother sent me a birthday card on 30/07Correos delivered the birthday card today on 10/09 - and 5 magazines, and 3 letters 1 of which is my new bank card, well, it isn't so new now having ordered it on 24/07 - nothing happens during the summer, diabolical.
Theft, Lies and Delays.Never send a letter or parcel from outside of Spain if Correos are involved. They've opened and stolen contents out of packages, never respond directly to questions or queries, provide inconsistent and inaccurate tracking information when you need to locate your package. Will be totally and utterly useless in helping you. They do not care at all. Monthly long delays in delivering packages from abroad even if you do pay extra to get things delivered within 5 days. Correos are a company sent directly from the pits of hell, even Satan himself wouldn't make anyone use them.Never send a package or letters if Correos are involved, 99.9% of the time your package will be in the home of one of their employees.
In the nine years I have lived in my house, correos have never called and have never delivered my mail. I use their tracking system, and read a message saying my package is out for delivery, then when I check the tracking site again, it says that they tried to deliver, but there was no one home...Lies. Then they leave a days gap, then they will say its out for delivery again, then they say no one was home, then I will have to pick my package up from my Local Correos office. This pattern happens every time...But I still wait for them, even though I know they will not come..I have written to the correos at least 4 times, and even sent them my google maps location, but they never pass this information on to their drivers.. Delivery companies, such as DHL, CTT, GLS, etc no Problems, they send a message saying when they will arrive, and they DO. Correos is probably the worst postal system in Spain...One star is too many stars..
