I’ve been using Aventus for a while now and I am sorely disappointed with my latest purchases. I ran out of the Aventus Cologne and Aventus original recently so bought new bottles at a cost of £600 for both. The quality is so poor now. There’s little projection, my Aventus original smells strongly of alcohol and the Aventus Cologne only lasts a few short hours whereas previously it would last all day. I still had some of the old bottle left so I was able to smell the difference and it was starkly different. It’s an absolute waste of money now.
My wife bought Creed Aventus parfum from John Lewis ( Brent Cross branch ) as a surprise gift for me.The smell would not last more than an hour or so !!Totally shocked at the quality of fragrances John Lewis offers as this was my second bad experience in a year. Best is to avoid John Lewis to save your money !
Extremely poor customer service. Lost parcel delivered by Royal Mail. Wouldn’t choose to shop with them again. Have asked Amex to dispute this as the customer service is non existent. Asking me to wait for another 10 days after already waiting 10 days for something that should have been delivered within 48 hours.
I ordered two bottles of Aventus, with complimentary inscription, as Christmas presents for my sons. They arrived very promptly the following day. However, I was very disappointed that they were both contained within one presentation box, meaning one of my sons will have a nicely presented gift and the other will not.
Really disappointed as a long term customer. I have been buying Creed aftershaves for over 20 years and have been happy with many different fragrances over the years including Millesime, Vertivier, Silver Mountain, Irish Tweed etc. In more recent years I have settled on Creed Aventus as it really is a beautiful smell. I use a couple of 100ml bottles a year and have always been happy...until now. I purchased 2 x bottles from the Creed counter in Duty free. However on returning home and opening the bottle there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that the fragrance simply is not as strong as previous bottles I have had. So obviously disappointed I contacted customer services to find out why this might be only to be fobbed off and told I had to contact the duty free company that sold me the bottle (even though it was an official Creed counter) Of course i have not received any reply. I appreciate that my contract is not with Creed direct, but with the re-seller, but having been in business many years I am amazed that a company and brand like Creed can be so unhelfpful to its loyal customers like me. I think its popularity in recent years has probably lead to complacency which is really sad. I also contacted them on social media, again no response. So I am now left with 2 bottles of Aventus, one of which simply is not as strong as previous bottles i have had. The other remains unopened.I suppose i might now get a response due to the bad review I have given Creed on here, but its certainly not the way i think the issue should have been handled.
I bought a bottle of there aventus on Thursday and paid extra for next day delivery because I needed it delivered for the weekend as it was for a special occasion. it was ordered well before the cut off time for the order to be delivered Friday.i then had a email from DPD which is there delivery partner and they were saying Monday delivery. I got in contact with creed customer services who told me they would look into this being a later delivery than was promised and they were going to get in contact with DPD to re schedule the delivery to make sure I received the delivery Saturday but still never received it until Monday!!. The customer services advisor told me she was going to take this to her managers to get it prioritised as urgent but nothing seems to have been done about it.I asked to be kept in the loop and for them to contact me to confirm everything she said would be done actually was happening but never heard anything back, just feel I was fobbed off!!.The package was sat in the local DPD delivery warehouse from Friday to it going out for delivery Monday morning.Just want to say if its a urgent delivery your needing then don't rely on creed to make this happen as you will only be disappointed with the service. Not a good service for such a expensive item from what is supposed to be a premium company, I'm a first time buyer and on the back of all this hassle and disappointment and upset I doubt I will be back for a second purchase.
