EasyTerra is a reliable car rental service that offers efficient and quick service. The booking process is straightforward, and the staff is friendly and helpful, ensuring a smooth experience without any surprises. Their "no worries" and worry-free options are particularly appreciated, providing peace of mind. While there were slight delays in refunds, overall, the company provides a satisfactory service for renting cars.
We booked a car via EasyTerra for a holiday in Sicily. Booking was easy and relatively cheap...until you pick-up the car. Then you can end-up loosing all the money you payed in advance. EasyTerra do business with very sketchy rental companies, in this case SurPrise in Catania. We arrived a couple of hours after, 12.00, the time that was in the contract. But still on the same day and well within their opening hours. Then SurPrise stated your booking has been cancelled since you are late and you loose all you have paid... We were there, on the airport with two disabled people, counting on the van we rented. No help from SurPrise. Easy Terra was closed at that time, so we called the next day. Basically they were not willing to do anything. The only offer was to put in a new booking, at full rate. As you might expect, we did not do this with this company. To conclude, I can see that bookings can be cancelled if you are late but charging full rate while renting the van to some-one else is no more then criminal. Unfortunately this is how these companies do business. So my advise would be, do not go into business with EasyTerra, they do nothing but collect a fee and will never help in case of issues.
Just don't use this website. I believe most positive reviews are paid reviews-Unclear booking process, I booked free milage, but got a voucher with limited miles. This will double my costs.-At pickup of car at Sixt: Sixt will add charges for various things and uses higher cost per KM as mentioned at Voucher. When you complain, they will say go complain at your booking company. -No phone number of easy terra for customer service, although they say you can call them.....
Made a reservation with the option to take the car across border. The criss border wasn’t confirmed so I send an email. No reply. Again. No reply. Only one day before rental started they answered cross border wasn’t possible. Too late to cancel. Money gone!
Non existing customer service. They ignore your emails. They don't have phone number to call. The car rental company they connected me to Zezgo (Dominican republic) did not honor the contract and have their own sets of rules (scams).After reaching out to Easy Terra 3 times, submitting evidence of scams of their external partner Zezgo, they are not getting back to me. Be aware that it's is very likely that you will be forced to buy additional insurance and that your credit card will be charge expensively in order to get the car. On easy terra booking a reservation states on 200 usd and Zezgo didn't want to give the car without reserving 1500 USD.

Booked a car with through EasyTerra - unfortunately EasyTerra has chosen to partner with Payless Car Rental – which was the worst car rental experience ever – and that's being generous... In a nutshell, everything you want to avoid when hiring a car – rude staff, a battered car (engine warning lights on, parcel shelf broken), we were supplied a smaller class than I'd paid for (I paid for a Compact (C) Class – Ford Focus or similar and got a (B) Supermini Class – Renault Clio), very high hire damage excess (1550 euros – unless of course you pay for their extra insurance). And the icing on the cake, they expect you to valet the car inside and out before returning – the sign said no dirt on the mats, no mudspashes, no bird dropppings (I've taken a photo of it). And then when we came to return the car, their were no staff there, as it was a Sunday! A helpful man from a rival company helped us by showing us where to put the keys (in an unmarked lockbox on a different company's wall). Surprisingly Payless is owned by Avis. Avoid – I was tricked into using them by booking with a 3rd party, I emailed EasyTerra in July, I'm still waiting for a response nearly a month later... so equally usless.
I recently had a very disappointing experience with EasyTerra. After accidentally booking a rental car for an extra day, I attempted to contact their customer service to make a simple modification. My experience was nothing short of frustrating:- Repeated Hang-Ups: The first two times I called, I was immediately disconnected. When I finally reached a representative, I was placed on hold for an excessively long time while they supposedly sought permission from a supervisor.- Inconsistent Responses: On a subsequent call, another representative again placed me on hold for the same reason. This time, I received an email stating that changes were not possible within 48 hours of the rental period. This critical information could have been communicated during my initial call, saving me a lot of hassle.- Unhelpful and Slow Service: The overall responsiveness and helpfulness of the customer service were severely lacking. The prolonged wait times and the need to repeatedly explain my situation were very frustrating.In conclusion, despite understanding the policy about changes within 48 hours, the way this was handled was extremely poor. I will not be using EasyTerra for future bookings and cannot recommend them based on this experience. Their customer service needs significant improvement to prevent other customers from having similarly negative experiences.
