Hoping this switchover goes ok

I explained to Louel the electricity smart reading was in the gas meter reading box. Louel told me to add the manual gas reading into the electricity reading box. I wouldn't as the billing would be incorrect. In the end, he cancelled the smart meter reading. When I checked online, it showed my mum had moved out?? This is the 2nd call after speaking to Pauline and the line went dead.I've ended up ringing back a 3rd time after travelling to my mother's to check the supply wasn't cut off.I suggest EDF employ people who understand what people are asking and can do the job.

Having spent 18 months arguing and…

Having spent 18 months arguing and getting over charged for my gas with British Gas due to a faulty smart meter I then moved to EDF which I hasten to add is a French company,,EDF amazing customer service,dealt with my meter within 2 months of being with them,I highly recommend EDF as there customer service is 1st class..thankyou EDF,British Gas can do one !!

Clive was incredibly helpful. I was so stressed out before I spoke to him and dreaded the conversation. However, Clive was really patient and understanding and went the extra mile to support me. He got to the point and it has helped me so much. I finished the call feeling so relieved! I’m grateful that I got through to him and I wish him nothing but the best.

Great customer service if you get the right adviser

Rang to try and fix just my gas tariff as my electricity is going to be covered by a solar tariff. Spoke to one lady who told me I couldn't just fix gas and could only fix both. Pointed out I had an email from EDF which said I could but I needed to ring to do so. She said she would investigate and come back to me in an hour. 3 hours later I had to ring as no contact. This time I spoke to someone who sorted me out in minutes and I now have a gas fixed tariff. The second call was great, the first not so one star docked.
