Waited over a month for an engine that never came. No one will call you back or give you an honest answer. I will not use them in the future, nor would I recommend them.

Terrible

Terrible, Worst experience of my life! (And I've lived in the Hurricane Capital of the United States for the past 30 years, I had to deal with Car Salesmen in the 70s). AND IT"S NOT OVER YET! After two months of Auto rental fees and 8 out and out lies (Two of which came directly from someone claiming to be a manager), 9 times I was told my engine was on a truck, not only was I not offered any kind of compensation for having to rent a car for 6 weeks longer than I should have, but now (after another 3 months), I'm being completely ignored about returning my core engine, now I have a Mechanic trying to get me to get my engine out of his garage. 5 months and I'm not done doing business with this place. I am literally being forced to hire an attorney to get an address to ship my core engine, and for shipping charges and core fees.

HORRIBLE COMPANY!!!!

HORRIBLE COMPANY!!!!! NOT EVEN A COMPANY!!!!! A SCAM. I've dealt with them twice and they screwed me out of money both times. We need to take them out of business. I don't know how they're still doing business with all the people the have screwed over. If any one of you who are disgruntled with this SCAM want to file a class action lawsuit please contact me. It only takes six people to file a class action lawsuit. I already have two people on board. It's time to speak up about SCAMS pulled off by such "companies" that take our hard earned money. Lisa Barnes 660 346 8351. Please text me as I don't answer numbers I don't recognize.

five weeks ago…

Our engine was delivered five weeks ago and installed, when the shop tried to start the engine it did not start. They ran a block test and failed they also ran a compression test and that failed. I've been trying to reach Sancho now for three weeks and no luck. They said a replacement engine was shipped and yet they cannot provide a tracking number nor do they want to refund me the money spent to pay the shop. SCAMMERS!!! this place sucks. Before sending the. Engine they claimed it was in their quality control department but cannot furnish any documentation of the engine being in good shape they claim it had 85,000 miles. It's time to take legal action class action lawsuit to many people on here having bad experiences with this company.so todays update was they voided my warranty because the heat tabs were MELTEDd!!!! this engine never started how can the heat tabs be MELTED!!!!!!???? now we're out $1,900 for the labor and $1,650 for the crappy engine they sent. does anyone have any follow up with legal action and or filing a complaint with the Wisconsin Consumer Affair Dept? please call me 619 772 6128well here's an update two months now since we ordered our engine. finally got them to pick up the engine and delivered back to the salvage yard where it came from. fortunately they have refunded the engine money $1655 unfortunately they do not want to refund us the money we spent at the mechanics shop for the labor $2,200. pisses me off, bad! if there is anyone who has dealt with these scammers and has a civil lawsuit lawyer please reach out to me.

The biggest scam

I own a professional automotive repair shop. This company is a total scam!! They get used engines and transmissions form junk yards across the country and i purchased one for 2850.00 with only 83k so they said. Nothing was capped off even with the turbo blades showing! There was years of oil and grim buildup on this engine and from the signs of blow-by it had at least 200k on it. I returned it and was supposed to get another engine. 2 weeks later i still do not have my money back or the other engine Sancho promised me. Horrible customer service and horrible parts. Do not buy anything from this horrible company.

Its a scam, junkyard engine

I should've done some research first. this company sells junkyard engines from 3rd parties. doesn't even know the condition of the engines that are being delivered to customer. Wouldn't provide a full refund for there false advertisement. had to return a super rusted engine which is website says under warranty. not once does he state it is a junkyard engine and actually has a partial warranty. this company is a scam and mike is a lying crook. Don't make any transactions with this place.

SCAMMERS

SCAMMERS - DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE-CURRENT LAWSUIT IN PROGRESS FILED IN 2017 BY WISCONSIN DOJ THEY'VE BEEN SCAMMING PEOPLE SINCE 2010-2011 SHUT THEM DOWN ALREADY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!CROOKS How in the world are these crooks still allowed to operate and deceive the public!?!? These guys are crooks with countless of complaints dating as far back as 10 or 11 years. The number of consistent complaints since that time is unbelievable. They took $2680.00 from us and sent us a rebuilt motor that has a horrible knocking sound and our mechanic says it's a crap motor and company should send us another one. Engine & Transmission World will not make it right...they don't even return messages. It's absolutely UNBELIEVABLE. Sancho is supposedly the "supervisor" but we've left at least 6-10 messages and he has not called back since. Cindy just says she will pass it to Sancho and Scott never returns calls either. CROOKS!!!!!!!! Someone needs to stop these guys. We want a refund - HELP!!!! Invoice #374734

Don't trust your credit card with Engine and Transmission World!

This may be premature in one regard as I haven't received the engine I ordered yet. My rating is zero (no stars if possible). I ordered an engine and two weeks later my credit card started being charged without my use. The card has been cancelled, but the fact remains I hadn't used it for years before this charge, and I hadn't used it since. Engine and Transmission World is responsible for this card getting into the hands of someone for fraudulent use.

Purchased an engine in June and it…

I purchased an engine in June and it arrived at my repair shop and when they unwrapped the engine the crank shaft was broke, screws were stripped that hold the engine together and the belt was twisted. My mechanics exact words were, “ there’s no way this is an refurbished engine, this engine came out of a car that was in a accident and sent to you”, I have been trying to get the engine replaced since 7/7/2021 and have called them at least 20 times and all I keep being told is let me look into it, I have to send this over to my supervisor and someone will call you back. Today is the first day I actually received and email back but it was for me to send pictures, I stated I sent pictures in on 7/7/2021 on all the damage so why would I need to do that again almost 3 weeks later after reporting my issue/claim. I feel I want get my issue resolved so I’m just out of the money I spent like I was suppose to get a Refurbished Engine not something I have to pay for someone to work on, I’m that case I could of had my engine rebuilt. Very dissatisfied single parent Invoice 374980, I thought I had found a reputable place and I was getting a good engine. Cindy is the only one that reached back out but I still feel like I’m getting the run around now I might loose my car because I can’t afford the storage fees for them storing it while waiting for replacement.
