Review Time
I agree with a previous review that trying to track your order is a complete waste of time. Original email stated our new fridge freezer will be with us between 13:35 and 17:35. Each time we checked we were told We're running a bit behind schedule and we should be with you between x and x time. After each time elapsed (5 or 6 in total) our item has still not arrived and we have had to call customer services to get an update as we have had no telephone call from the driver. We have waited in all afternoon and it is now 18:45 and still no delivery. Apparently they will be here in the next hour and the tracking time is now saying 18:40 - 20:40 apparently the drivers phone has died and he has had to cover another drivers deliveries as well as his own. I have sympathy for the driver as he must have had a very stressful day but this is not good enough as regards delivery service and company practice.
This morning I was supposed to receive a delivery of an oven. It was scheduled to arrive between 7-11am. I awoke at 7 to find a missed call (delivery guys) at 6:53. No voicemail. I then tried to call the number back at 7:04. No answer. A few mins later I received a call from someone at AO who informed me they had attempted delivery - called me, buzzed property etc - but had failed to contact me. This isn’t true whatsoever. I was in. The buzzer works. They called before the allotted time once and did not try again. They did not take my call just minutes later. Nobody attempted to deliver this or contact me in any serious way. I am absolutely livid. I would have given zero stars if that was an option.
I could not speak highly enough about the service we received from the delivery guys, Josh and Ryan. We had an American Fridge Freezer delivered today, a little too wide to take through the door with the packaging on. They advised if they had to take off the packaging to get the appliance through the door it would be the customers liability, if it should be damaged. We decided to take the chance after having a discussion with them. The care they took to bring the fridge freezer into the house after unwrapping it was excellent and i cannot praise them enough. I feel the both of them should be rewarded in recognition for their service, expertise, care, patience and skill used to deliver the item. They are excellent role-models for Expert Logistics. Thank you Josh and Ryan.
Ordered a new hob via AEG with delivery and installation arranged by Expert Logistics. Unfortunately, the experience was not good. The installation team were aware they needed to remove the old ceramic hob and replace with the new hob, but instead of bringing any tools with the means of cutting or softening the sealant applied by the previous homeowner, the installation team preceded to lift and crack the hob beyond repair and damage the countertop. The drivers were apologetic, and the manager who I spoke to after the experience promised a call back with a solution with two working days, however I have not received any call since the incident. Now, I have a hob which has been installed to a middling standard sat atop old sealant and not flush with the cutout, and they cracked my old ceramic hob and turned it into e-waste when it could have been reused elsewhere. I have still not received a call from Expert Logistics regarding repairing the damage done to my countertop, and therefore cannot recommend this company if they’re contracted to perform an installation on your property until a solution has been provided to rectify the problems that they have unnecessarily caused.
This company came to deliver and install my cooker to me twice and both times the delivery drivers rejected it claiming there was too many stairs. The second time I feel they were just following in the footsteps of the men that came the first time because they were told by the company why it was rejected the first time. The reason why delivery got rejected by the drivers was because I live on the fifth floor and they said they cannot climb so many stairs. I have had a cooker and a fridge delivered before by another company and the delivery drivers never even complained. They have to do multiple jobs in the same day anyway so they can think of my job as being two or three jobs in one.
Expert Logistics appear to be the parent company of AO (who doesn't seem to have a heading of their own on Trustpilot).I ordered a 60cm cooker and a washing machine on the 22nd August and surprise AO said they could delivered and install on the 26th August 2022.They came on the day and the gas fitter appeared to be more concerned about taking measurements of the cookers position for the "Hot zone"even though the there was 80cm gap and a brick wall with no cupboards on one side. The fitter appeared to take more photographs of my kitchen than a photographer would of Kate Moss. Then came the "but" statement. The fitter stated that that the gas connector would need to be moved so the gas hose doesn't kink. After "looking" in his van I was then told that the he did not have a T piece joint to make the modification. The fitter then went on to say that he could arrange another installation appointment, but he also said that the next fitter may also not have the necessary part.So the fitter and his mate started installing the washing machine instead, but the following comment was overheard "if we were to work on that [gas] pipe we would have been here all day" !The T piece in question would cost a maximum 50p from the likes of B&Q or Plumbase. What type installation company would send out a fitter without basic spares. Was it that the fitter was not allocated enough hours to carry out a job. In addition, why would a installation company send out another fitter for an installation again without a specific part ?I have cancelled the AO installation and they have meant to have given me a refund, but I am now left without an cooker. Luckily I know a decent qualified GAS fitter who does carry adequate spares with him.The washing machine appears to work !
How do I get "Expert Logistics" to stop calling me? I had a Samsung washing machine faulty under warranty which needed collecting by "Expert Logistics" - after arranging the delivery literally 2 minutes later I got a call for "Ian" to arrange for delivery of dishwasher - I explained it was a wrong number and recognising the voice I said we'd just spoken about my collecting my washing machine - in the last 2 weeks I have now had 12 calls from "Expert Logistics" for various people (none of them me) and it just continues - how the f*** can my mobile number be associated with all of these tickets - what a bunch of ..... I have ranted at one caller, asked for my number to be deleted told it had been, and then 10 minutes later another call - 3 calls today alone - all from a withheld number so I can't directly block them, I have to now block all withheld numbers. Unbelievable the abject level of incompetence, and all those people waiting for a delivery call about their washing machine, fridge freezer, dishwasher who never received it because THEY CALLED ME INSTEAD. STOP CALLING MY MOBILE!!
I ordered an electric oven & gas hob from Very with installation, waited 12 days and when your team arrived 27/06 the oven was faulty so they took it back leaving the gas hob installed, 28/06 I was called to say that as it’s part of a package they need to collect the hob and return that, after speaking to Very, Your company and Hoover/Candy I was advised to reorder - 8 days later (without any cooking facilities except a microwave and a toaster) on 6th July it arrived, the installation team weren’t gas engineers so couldn’t install a GAS hob, said they could install the electric oven, I told them that I can’t keep one part and that at this point I no longer wanted the item, it had been almost 4 weeks and 3 of them where we was unable to cook a meal, we were either eating toast, takeaways or microwave meals, not idealOn top of this I now owe Very £851.98 for items that Expert Logistics have.
