Worst transport service in existence

Worst transport service in existence. The bus broke down at 1:20am when our departure was at 22:40 pm on the night before (for which they were 20 minutes late by the way). We had to wait 2 hours for them to call the engineers fixing the bus and to fix the maintenance issue. Twenty minutes driving after that, the bus broke down again for another hour until they finally decided we should go to a nearby gas station and wait for a replacement bus. From 3:40am to now, 7:20am we finally had the confirmation that the replacement bus was arriving at only 9:15am, more than 5 whole hours. Mind you we should have already arrived at London Victoria Station at 8 in the morning and after we get the replacement we still have a 6 hour drive ahead of us. They said they did “everything they could” but only called those responsible for getting us a replacement bus ONCE. We tried to get a refund but they refused to permit us access to one and practically insulted us by stating “food and drinks are instead available on the bus for just £15” (not even true, we can’t buy anything on here). Aside from that the bus driver and other staff member are rude in the most unhinged way towards customers, yelling at one when the bus broke to “SIT DOWN” and judging another with just swear words for requesting a refund. They couldn’t go a single sentence in the entire time that I was on the bus without saying the F word, either amongst themselves or towards other customers. Oh and when another woman tried to enter the bus, they stated she didn’t have her ticket, refused her entry without actually questioning her, and told her to “eff off, idiot”. Absolutely no professionalism, just man-children working as the bus drivers and ticket inspectors. Completely unacceptable service and would never recommend to anyone. Wouldn’t wish this type of experience on my worst enemy.

I wish I could give them 0 stars because honestly they deserve it. We waited 20 minutes for the bus to arrive when the time of arrival should have been 22:40, and apparently we go for like 3hours and we stopped because of maintenance issues and we have been waiting for more than 6 hours and recovery bus comes at 9:15 they said it take us 3 hours max to cone here how can it alright to take 8hours to come here and worst is we have no support or anyone take responsibility they aren’t even sorry i called customer “support” and I explained we have been delayed for 6 hours and in web it says 120min or more delay have refund and she said as long as you get into bus there is no way to refund and after 5 hours of delay and lots of calls and emails I received €15 drink coupons? That is just straight up insulting. Do you think 8 hours of people life worth €15 drink?????

If I could give 0 starts I would. I was provided the incorrect bus stop address by FlixBus. The bus was 50 minutes late, and then arrived to the wrong address. I was left stranded in 40 degree heat. When I tried to get a refund because of their error, they said that my tickets were used and denied me a refund. This is despite the fact that I had timestamped proof that I was not on the bus, and had to buy local bus tickets to get to my destination. Absolutely disgusting customer service, incredibly poor bus service and just an overall sham company. Save your money and your time and use local transport instead!

Flixbus is a Joke – Never Again

Our direct bus got canceled a few days before departure, making the trip way longer. Then the connecting bus never even showed up. We were stranded, stressed, and had to pay for last-minute train tickets as alternative. We asked for a refund, which was denied because we used the first part of the trip. What kind of scam logic is that?Flixbus is unreliable with terrible customer service. Cheap isn’t worth it. Avoid at all costs!

Bus driver left us behind and refuses to take responsibility.

DO NOT TRAVEL WITH FLIXBUS. Me and my Grandmother attempted to travel from Buffalo to Niagara Falls. The bus was late and pulled into the bus station in Buffalo. Signs at the gate say to wait inside for the driver to board passengers. The driver never came inside and left the stop leaving all passengers behind. Flixbus staff at buffalo station was unhelpful and dismissive towards passengers. Additionally I spent an hour and a half on hold to Flixbus with no answer. I sent them an email explaining what happened and they refused to issue any compensation for the bus driver leaving us behind. I will never attempt to travel again with this JOKE of a company. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Used to be decent

The last couple of trips and support have only been pkss poor. Was charged twice for a ticket, support claimed it would be refunded by 3rd day, 4th day comes and still nothing. Write with live chat, I was told they would be back another 3 days time, and was asked to fill a form. Email support told me the same, 3 days would pass. Now it's been 7 days and still no refund and no further word from support in any shape, only "give it 3 days". On top of this, I paid extra for 1A seat, and someone else sat on my seat then refused to give it to me, I complained again (since I fkn paid extra for this!) Not a single __ was given. Now again, on my return trip, I was charged extra for a change, and was affirmed twice that I would have the same seat that I paid extra for, only to not give me that seat I paid extra for, and no apology, no refunds, no anything. The service on this has gotten absolutely rock bottom. Even fastfood will give you a better service. I can absolutely tell you to stay far from this disgusting practice of "service" as they literally don't care about you like they used to. The prices have risen for a worse service. STAY FAR from Flexbus!!

Outrageous charges for a simple name change

Extremely disappointed with FlixBus. I was charged over £40 just to change the name on a ticket(which originally cost less than £10), even though the date, time, and passenger category stayed exactly the same. It wasnt last minute and I had already paid for the original ticket, which cost significantly less than the name change fee itself. This feels like nothing more than an unfair money grab — there was no added value, no flexibility, and no justification for such an inflated charge. Contacted customer support who just justified the extortionate amount calling it a 'modification fee'. I’ll think twice before booking with them again.

An absolutely scam company, Philadelphia. The bus didn't pick up passengers after arriving because it ran out of fuel. It was our first time in Philadelphia, and the return trip to New York became a nightmare. The bus went to refuel and didn't return. There was no information about this from Flux Bus. We were left running to other buses, and none of them could take us, or the driver illegally took money in their hands. Corruption exploiting desperation. I didn't expect such scenes to happen in the US. The bus stop was located under an overpass where there were a lot of homeless people and drug addicts, nontoilets,rest rooms ,very hot 35 degrises ,a scene straight out of a horror movie. As a family with children, we didn't feel safe there, and Flux Bus was completely disinterested, not even giving us any reliable information about whether this bus was safe.or t will come back or not. I don't recommend using this carrier! We only used it because it was at the end of our tour of Philadelphia. If I had known, I would have definitely taken the train back. It finally arrived, but after that, I said never again to Flux Bus. Never. So if you want to return safely and be sure you're in good hands, choose something else, one that will at least give you information if there are any delays, and you want to feel safe.

I regret using flix bus

Had a flix bus booked on Friday 11th July 2025 at 12.30pm from London Victoria after travelling for a couple of hours we stopped at a service station as the air con was not working so we could get a drink. After coming back out to my shock the coach had gone without me snd left another 2 people from the same coach behind. We were all left without our luggage and whatever belongings we had on our seats.(I would like to add the driver had left 3 minutes early)hen trying to contact flix bus of what had happened their response what theres nothing they could do and did not offer any solution. This would have never happened if it was national express and after I get my luggage back I will never use fkix bus again
