2 delays, no compensation

Our FlixBus trip was delayed initially by *five* hours, and we were only informed on very short notice. Then it got delayed by another hour and fifteen minutes without any warning at all. The journey itself was okay, but when we got to the border control area between France and London, we had a really bad experience. The bus didn’t even count the passengers properly and left us behind, so we had to talk to the staff on site to help get the bus to come back and pick us up.Overall, our experience was really not good at all. Even when we tried to reach out to the company to get some kind of compensation, we didn’t get any response, and they refused to offer any compensation.

Got stuck as a solo traveller in …

Got stuck as a solo traveller in paris, bercy overnight. ( also the original trip from london to paris was delayed 2 hours)No facilities, no toilets, charging points, or water. Very unsafeThere was no update from 2350 u till 3am. The told it was not coming. I was told return to station at 0735 for the next bus. Then next bus (0735) was delayed until 2330 the following day even thougj it was upded delays from 1400, then 2230 then 2330. There was no help. No updates. No food or water no seats no charging points. Original trip should of been £98 from london to paris return. This trip cost me £568. Ticket also disappeared from the app at the last minute. This coach station is like the paris slums.there were families with disabled babies that where also stranded. No help.

Kaleia Bus Worst Experiencei booked a double trip on Flixbus to Sunnybeach recently and I was rerouted to a third party I paid for convenience but I got booked on a budget bus with broken seats and stinky passengers and no charging ports .Would avoid

First and last time I use this company

My trip delayed and instead of moving me to the next bus which would departure 20 minutes later, they moved me to another one 90 minutes later. When I went to complain they said I’d need to buy the 20 minutes later bus ticket. Therefore, I’d have to pay for THEIR failure.

Near death experience!!

Near death experience!!! 2 weeks ago we used flixbus to get from Lyon to Barcelona. It set off at 14:00 and was meant to arrive in Barcelona at 22:40. We had decided last minute to get the bus as our trains had been delayed, so this was a quicker option. Worst decision ever! We had been up since 4:30AM to travel from Paris to Barcelona. The bus driver took a different route due to roads being closed which meant it added an extra hour to our journey, which we didn’t mind. But he started taking wrong turns and asked passengers for directions! We ended up getting lost in the French Pyrenees, and on roads which were not made for buses especially at night in the pitch black. At one point the bus ended up in a ditch on one of the mountains, everyone had to get off while the driver moved the bus so it didn’t roll down the mountain. No one on the bus spoke English so we had to use google translate to understand what was happening - which was challenging since the bus wifi didn’t work and there was bad/no signal in the mountains. This caused more distress. There were countless near misses of the bus nearly driving off the steep drops of the mountains. We finally arrived in Barcelona at 6AM the next morning! This meant we had lost a night in Barcelona but also a day as we slept for most of the next day. As we had been awake for 26 hours and couldn’t sleep on the bus since we were so scared and anxious. We emailed flixbus asking for some compensation for the distress caused but they have not replied. Very disappointing and traumatic!

Luggage and passports Lost on FlixBus

On July 7th, my family traveled from Lisbon (Portugal) to Faro (Portugal) using Flixbus. During the bus ride the driver had stopped the bus for a rest stop. We had exited the bus to use the restroom, as I was feeling unwell. When I exited the restroom my children informed me that the bus had completely left us BEHIND! It was like a worst nightmare come true. We had tried to contact customer support, but they of no help to us at all, being completely rude and unhelpful giving us absolutely ZERO information about our belongings on the bus. So we decided to take an expensive uber all the way to faro from the rest stop, in order to catch the bus at faro before it had left to its next destination. We discovered at Faro that the Bus had already left back to Lisbon, and we still did not know where our luggage was located, this ended up derailing our whole vacation as we had plans to visit Spain, but we couldn't since our passports were on the bus. The customer support was compeletly usless and unhelpful even though we had provided them with all of the necessary information and completed the lost baggage form. We eventually traveled back to lisbon from faro by a Train this time! When we got back to the Lisbon Oriente station there was no lost and found department. We eventually tracked our exact bus, in order to talk with the driver individually, but he completely ignored me, shooing me away and closing the door and driving away without stating a clear word, let alone an explanation for our lost bags and passports. Clearly driver negligence. We had to cancel our reservations in Spain, and book new accommodations in Lisbon, as well as getting emergency passports since our flight back to the United States was deperating in the coming days, all while dealing with the poor customer service and very rude and arrogant flixbus drivers who gave us no information at all. We are now considering filing a damage claim for our lost baggage. We only chose flixbus because of their cheap price, next time me and my family travel we are taking a train 100 %, no matter the cost. A wonderful vacation we were having until it was ruined by Flixbus. NO FLIXBUS!!

Left us like garbage after blackmail attempt.

Driver scanned our tickets, then said we had way too much luggage. Tried to blackmail us for 500€. i tried calling customer support beforhand, 40 minutes with that lovely automated voice and crap music. Voice told me i could add more BAGS in the app, i could only add 1.... driver said bus was full, it was not at all. Then he tried blackmail and when we didnt pay he left 6 tourist stuck at AMS centraal at 23.15 in the night. Flixbus CS not owning the mistake because our trip had " started" even though we watched the bus drive away without us. CS at flixbus sucks. Avoid at all costs

Having back my suitcase after lost it

I took FlixBus (UK006) from London to Cambridge on July 5th, arriving around 11 PM. Unfortunately, I left my suitcase behind, containing my passport, residence permit, and house keys. It was truly stressful and I can't imagine what would happen if I don't have it anymore. I would be homelessThankfully, the next morning (July 6th), driver James, on the 7:15 AM return journey from Cambridge to London, kindly reunited me with my suitcase. His kindness and professionalism genuinely saved my life and saved me from being illegally homeless.Thank you, James!!!!! And I don't know the driver's name last night, but I must also say thank you to the driver last night from London to Cambridge. These drivers are amazing!!!!!!!!!!!I cry so hard.

Extremely Disappointing Experience – Overcharged and Treated Rudely

I recently traveled with Flexibus from Newcastle to London Victoria, and it was my first—and definitely last—time using their service.From the start, the driver repeatedly insisted I pay extra for my bag, without even a greeting or explanation. My bag was well within the allowed size and weight (and smaller than other passengers’ luggage), but he refused to listen and demanded £12, which I had to pay on the spot with no receipt provided. I was in a rush to catch a flight, so I had no choice but to comply.After my journey, I contacted Flexibus customer service with proof of my bag’s size, the bank transaction, and their own luggage policy (which even shows the extra charge should have been much less). The agent I spoke to was extremely rude and dismissive, simply repeating that they couldn’t help because I didn’t have a receipt. When I asked to escalate the issue to a manager, I was flatly refused in a very rude and disrespectful way.I travel frequently and have never had such a negative experience with other companies like National Express—my bag is always accepted, even by airlines. The lack of professionalism and respect, from both the driver and customer service was shocking.Overall, this was a terrible experience. I felt overcharged, scammed, and completely disrespected. I will never use Flexibus again and would strongly advise others to be cautious.
