Review Time
It has been 3 weeks, yet the order (#2002086) has not even been dispatched. The company is insisting that the order is definitely not cancelled, and keeps sending re-assuring emails that the shipping details will be available within 24-72 hours. It has now been 8 days since last such email. I just want to warn anyone who were thinking to purchase from this website that Giglio is NOT what it used to be - a company with high standards and intergrity. I will have no other option but to seek legal advice.
I needed to cancel an order with Giglio, and although they helped me with this, I still have not received my money back. My funds are being held for two months by my bank because Giglio do not want to help by letting my bank know that it is okay to release my funds. Mark that I even send the Giglio team the email adress for the bank as adviced by my bank and told them what to write to save them time. It would have been very easy for them to assist with this but they refused. They even knew, that I needed to cancel the order due to pretty serious personal matter regarding money. I would not recommend shopping here.
Placed my first order for Brunello Cucinelli linen pants in May 2025, shipping to NY wasn't fast, but eventually I got my brand new authentic item way cheaper than on US market. While on vacation in June visited Giglio store in Palermo, loved it. In July ordered matching Brunello Cucinelli shirt, again, shipping wasn't fast, but other than that no complaints. Will shop again from Giglio!
Unfortunately, I had to complaint about poor quality with a Baleciaga sandal where the inner sole got loose after only wearing them twice for less then 6 hours in total. The customerservice reaction to my complaint was quick. Nevertheless, the final suggestion to process the complaint was delegated to the manufacturer with the result that a decision is delayed for week. My resumé of this experience is to be careful when being attracted by very attractive prices, the sold items might be B goods as in my case.
I’m incredibly impressed with the customer service I received from Giglio, especially from Alessia. I had lost the invoice for an order I placed several months ago and urgently needed a copy. Alessia replied to my email very promptly and provided the original invoice without any hassle.Her tone was friendly and professional, and she made the whole process feel effortless. In a time when good customer service is becoming rare, it was truly refreshing to receive such attentive and efficient support.Thank you, Alessia, for your kindness and quick help, it made a big difference and left me with a very positive impression of Giglio as a company. I will definitely be shopping here again.
placed an order with GIGLIO.COM on June 22, and today is July 7 – I still haven’t received my package. The tracking number hasn’t moved in over a week, and customer service keeps replying with generic messages like “we are following up daily” or “we’re waiting for a reply from the courier” – without offering any real help.After more than two weeks, I requested a refund, and even that is being delayed. There are no clear updates, and it honestly feels like they’re just stalling.If GIGLIO.COM replies here saying something like “we have helped the customer” or “we are working on it,” please know that it’s just a standard response – and not necessarily true.!!!!!!! 08.07.25 UPDATE: After posting this review, GIGLIO.COM replied here on Trustpilot claiming that the order number I provided belongs to another customer – even though I have been emailing with them for over a week, and they’ve repeatedly confirmed both my name and order number in those emails.This is a typical example of how they try to shift blame and avoid responsibility, even when there is clear documentation!!
They been holding my money for almost a week for 3 things I ordered, they canceled two of my t shirts and they won’t pay me back until the order is shipped, soon it’s been a week and they did not send it yet, and I’m going to Thailand at the end of this week so nobody will be able to pick the swimtrunks up once they finally send it, hopefully they don’t because I rather take my money back so I can buy swimpants somewhere else before I go, but I guess they so slow it won’t be possible, probably get back my money in a month or something when they realized I won’t pick up their order since im not around, never again.
