My experience with GIGLIO.COM has been deeply frustrating and disappointing. I placed an order for a pair of shoes, which was confirmed—only to be cancelled with the claim that the item was out of stock. Oddly, the same item (same size) remained listed on their website right afterward, but at a higher price.I tried again and placed a second order—at the new higher price—which was also accepted and then cancelled. Both times, I was told there was a “stock misalignment.” This would be understandable once, but the pattern and timing feel far more like price manipulation than a simple inventory issue.I reached out to customer service and received a series of impersonal, copy-paste-style replies from a representative named Irene, who eventually told me:“We inform you to not order these shoes anymore, since as mentioned the item is out of stock.”This response was not only dismissive but tone-deaf—essentially telling a paying customer to stop trying to buy something from their store. Irene also offered two discount coupons as “compensation,” but gave no real apology or effort to make up for the inconvenience, lost time, or repeated cancellations.Even worse, she confirmed that some items are excluded from discounts due to "commercial policies", which only reinforces my concern that my lower-priced orders were cancelled so the product could be resold at a higher price.All in all, this has been a disappointing experience marked by misleading listings, poor communication, and an unacceptable approach to customer care. I will not be shopping here again—and I recommend others proceed with caution.
This is one of the worst retailer I have ever dealt with. Made 2 orders on their website, both were nightmare experiences. One was canceled with no clear reason (because I assume the price was too discounted) and one was delivered nearly a month later and I had to fight on my own with the carrier (FedEx) to be delivered because Giglio didn’t help me at all. Saying I just need to wait for my package to be delivered whereas my package clearly had a problem as soon as 10 days after placing my order and was stuck at the same facility. After more than 3 weeks of sending them emails, they said "We will reach out to our shipping department"… They didn’t even bother to contact FedEx yet… With no updates, I had to call myself FedEx multiple times and after many calls my package was at last delivered (not thanks to Giglio which didn’t even reach to the carrier yet). Now, I see that they went to take back and cancel my cashback for this order after it was automatically validated! I didn’t return my order so there is absolutely no reason why they would cancel my cashback after validating it. I assume they didn’t like my negative review on Trustpilot and went to take back my cashback after they saw it. A dishonest company, I order from many retailers for many years and it’s one of my worst experience with a retailer.
I ordered a pair Manolo Blahnik Sandals on March 26, 2025 and received a shipping confirmation on 3/28 with a tracking number . I have yet to receive the shoe until present time. when contacted Fedex for an update I was told to contact the sender because apparently the package is lost. When contacted the store. I HAVE BEEN GIVEN AROUND & AROUND NOT A STRAIGHT ANSWER AS TO WHEN I WILL GET THE SHOE . ON FEDEX WEBSITE IT S MARKED YELLOW MEANING SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH PACKAGE AND . I SHOULD HAVE LISTENED TO THE REVIEWS AND ORDERED FROM THEM.. NEVER AGAIN !!!
I placed an order with Giglio on April 4, spending over $1800 on a Max Mara cashmere jacket and a pair of shoes. As of today—nearly a month later—I have still not received my package!!!I promptly submitted my taxpayer information as required for customs, but UPS still has no estimated delivery date. Even worse, the package is listed as only 1 kg in the UPS system, which is highly suspicious for an order of this size and value—it raises the possibility that the package may have been empty when scanned.Giglio’s customer support has been completely unhelpful. They only respond via email with vague, automated replies like “we will do our best to make you receive your package,” yet they take no actual action and provide no real updates. At this point, their lack of accountability is unacceptable.If I don’t receive the order by the end of this week, I will initiate a dispute through my bank to recover the full amount.Extremely disappointed and will not be ordering from Giglio again!!!
