Negative 5 Star - Never Use this Company

My delivery should have arrived Friday 2/6, then on 2/7, and now it's 2/9 at 4:pm and GLS/Mountain View dispatch is telling me that the driver attempted delivery at 11:47am today. According to the driver, we were closed today. I let dispatch know that my store is open 7 days a week and the store was not closed today for any reasons. After holding for dispatch for 15 minutes, I was put into a survey queue, which would not allow me to select the lowest rating. Afterward, the call was disconnected. See previous rating dated March 11, 2025.

GLS is the worst company

GLS is the worst company. ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE … when things go wrong and if you use this company deliveries will have serious errors and issues. You will lose customers if you use this company to ship to any customers and what’s worse is they just don’t care the employees are worthless and don’t care to help you and it’s impossible to get anyone for management on the phone to help you with any problems don’t use them. You will regret it we do we have used them for years and we’re finally done….. they had a problem with our account that they could never straighten out in their system and it took 2 1/2 weeks to deliver WINE. Then it ended up coming back to us and never made it to the Customer…… they are the worst company we have ever had the pleasure to stop doing business with…..

Negative bupkis

My package from Hungary was due to be delivered January 22. It never arrived. No apologies....no reasons. Just gone. I contacted both GLS HUNGARY and US branch. Both incompetent and lackadaisical attitudes and performance. Assistance I rate negative bupkis. Sadly I won't be able to purchase books from Hungary in the future because they use this service.

I will never use this service again

I will never use this service again. This is a 1 track path to misplacing packages. Drivers put forth minimal effort to deliver packages. Zero attention paid to posted delivery locations.

Road Runner Sports uses GLS for delivery of order in Scottsdale. The orders never arrive! Multiple orders attempts, same result.

Do NOT use this company in the U.S.

I didn't realize the company I ordered from was using GLS, I just assumed USPS, UPS, or FedEx. So, knowing I likely wouldn't be home when it came, I didn't worry because those delivery companies leave notices. After a few days, when I got nothing, I found the tracking info and saw that it was a company called GLS. The tracking info said it had been attempted twice and that a "notification was sent", yet I never got any notification. Since it's not like the others and I couldn't just go easily pick it up (their only location is over an hour away) I called the company's customer service and the lady I spoke with said that she could schedule the delivery for after 4PM, when I'd be home. It didn't come, so I checked the tracking again, and they had attempted delivery in the morning yet again, despite it clearly being noted in my tracking info that an afternoon delivery had been scheduled. I called again and asked what was up and the rep (different one) said that, regardless of the window scheduled, it can still change according to the driver's schedule, something the previous rep did not bother to mention. So, I said fine, at least I'm off tomorrow so I'll be here all day. He said they wouldn't attempt it again and it would be returned to sender unless I contacted them and had them authorize another attempt. It was too late to reach the sender...so, my package is being returned.They may give good service in other countries, but clearly their presence here isn't large enough to be useful as a reliable delivery service whatsoever. From now on, I will darn sure find out who a company uses for delivery and will NEVER again order from anyone that uses GLS.

False advertising- not overnight delivery!

The drop box states that deliveries are picked up by 5pm daily, but that is not true. There have been many, many, many times that my deliveries are not picked up until the following day. This is not an overnight service and it is not reliable. You need to label the box for every other day pick ups since overnight delivery is false advertising.
