Review Time
This the first time I have ordered flowers from Haute Florist, we sent a bouquet to our friends for their anniversary. They said the the bouquet was beautiful on arrival but by day 4, everything had died. They followed all the care instructions but the roses drooped and the lilies went rotten.When I contacted customer services, they said all issues had to be reported within 3 days of delivery. That's a bit difficult when they died on day 4. I was offered a £10 voucher as compensation but I declined as I send flowers to freinds and I don't want this embarrassment again. I'll go to a trusted supplier.
I’ve used this flower service many times and it’s always been a great experience. The website is easy to use, with a wide choice of beautiful flowers and different sizes available. I also love the little extras you can add, like a card or chocolates, which make the gift feel even more special. It’s perfect for surprising someone when you can’t be there in person. Highly recommend flowers always look fresh , great packing !
Should have read the review on TrustPilot and not on the website (which says 4.69 out of 5) - so this is my fault for not doing a proper check. The score on TrustPilot is 3.7... I would have not even considered using this flowers service, should I had checked.In brief - I am extremely disappointed with the quality of the bouquet, value for money and the customer service feedback after I submitted my complaint.Definitely do not recommend buying any flowers from Haute Florist.To recap my experience:- Paid £45.50 for this bouquet Windermere medium size bouquet.- The bouquet received had none of the "luxury" touch that is described / shown in the sample picture on the Haute Florist website. I get the concept of substituting flowers etc. But this is not the first bouquet of flowers I am ordering online, and I have never had such a disappointing experience.* I wish I could attach the images of the flowers received for reference.- For transparency - flowers were sitting at the reception at the hotel for a few hours, so I do not reject the possibility that the flowers might have been a bit wilted due to that.---------This is what I received as a response from the customer service:After carefully reviewing the images with our florist manager, they’ve confirmed that the bouquet appears to be of good quality and matches the size ordered. That said, we absolutely understand that fresh flowers can sometimes appear slightly different on arrival, especially before they've had time to fully open and bloom.To help your bouquet reach its full beauty, we recommend following the flower care guide included with your order. This will allow the blooms to fully hydrate and take in the flower food, often resulting in a closer match to the appearance shown online.-------This was supposed to be a lovely surprise to a family member - but turned out to be a really upsetting and disappointing experience.Obviously use your own judgement, but I do suggest buying flowers elsewhere; and most definitely checking TrustPilot for reviews before placing your oder.
