The worst payment provider out there, avoid at all costs

The worst payment provider out there.I am a PM working for a company that integrated with Mangopay as a payment provider. Oh boy, did I regret my decision of choosing this company. From the outside, it looks nice and shiny, but once you look at the inside, it's so disorganised. They lack all kinds of payment functionalities and infrastructure. Many times I've had to chase them to reconcile a fund transfer from our clients because they are doing things manually and 'forgot' to do some things. Other times, the payout was created but not successfully sent to the recipient. 70-80% of our clients have issues with payments because of Mangopay, and we even had some clients churn because of this. To top it off, their Support team is very slow and they don't work past 5pm. I'm very frustrated with this experience with Mangopay.If you are considering Mangopay as a payment provider to integrate with, learn from my lesson and avoid at all cost.

Awful experience they are holding my money

Dreadful. I registered as a vinted pro seller, I was asked to verify my identity. despite the fact that I sent them the documents exactly as I was asked, my verification was unsuccessful, I sent passport and full self assessment tax return direct as a pdf from gov website account, it contains all my personal financial info as well as the stuff they want like UTR num etc, I repeated this process 4 times as it kept failing, first couple times it failed vinted said not in date, they ask for something dated no older than three months which I thought could be the issue, however a self-assessment tax return is only done once a year and the next one is not due to be sent till January 2025 I’ve explained this to them twice but they asked me to upload it again which I did. The next fail I’m now given a reason that it is ‘not Validated’ whatever that means, I asked vinted to explain what it means and all I got was a very short response back saying ‘I’ve told you the problem please comply’ so I messaged again which was about five days ago and said please can someone look into it I can’t comply unless I know what the problem is. I’ve just had another reply saying they are still looking into it. This is my business and I have not been able to pay myself. I have thousands of pounds sitting there that I can’t access. I’ve been a business seller on eBay for over 10 years and I’ve never had issues like this. I’ve always been able to actually speak to somebody. It’s such a shame because Vinted is a great platform. I’ve been finding sales really good on there but this mango pay business is really letting them down.

Scandalous (or should I say SCAMdalous?)

Currently on my 4th Vinted Pro verification attempt and once again rejected even though I provided a valid passport, VAT registration proof and detailed Self-Assessment forms.They are holding hostage £7000 from my business. Legal action will be taken if this situation isn't solved soon.

A terrible impression via Vinted - but the source is mangopay!

As a partner of Vinted, continuously rejecting my verification as a pro seller, I can’t believe there is not a way to find a better way to communicate directly about the reasons for the rejection. I have uploaded my documents several times now and Vinted support do not have the answers and are rude to me when saying so. I have been trying to resolve this for two weeks now and keep getting mixed messages, incorrect and unhelpful information and abuse from customer support (I quote “if you cannot follow the guidelines that is not our issue”). Your company name is associated with this and it’s giving a terrible impression of your company in this partnership.I would be happy to update this review if somebody can contact me and tell me what I am doing wrong. Please 🙏🏻

terrible experience

my money on vinted pro account has been blocked, I was asked to verify my identity. despite the fact that I send them the documents exactly as I asked, my verification was unsuccessful, for no reason (I repeated this process 5 times already) Mangopay responds in emails that I should contact vinted for help, vinted ignores my messages, sends automatic replies to send the documents again and wait. both customer service in vinted and in Mangopay does not exist. I have no idea who to contact for help. Mangopay has both my money and all the documents (bank statements, passport photo, all my company details) I have been selling on vinted for 5 years and I have never had this situation before. The problem started when I changed my vinted account to vinted pro and Mangopay took over the responsibility for money transfers

Mango Pay Horror Show with Vinted

I have an Pro account on Vinted and despite being a UK citizen providing a valid UK passport and drivers licence and all the requested details, I still am unable to access large sums of money in my vinted account. Despite already being authenticated by the Vinted platform using the same documents. a week has passed with multiple attempts (7 and counting) and no feedback or contact made from Mango pay to be able to resolve. Contacting them is impossible. It is a absolute nightmare and killing my work. They are sitting on thousands of pounds with no attempts to help. Will have to seek legal action to resolve.

Haven’t received my funds from sale on Vestiaire Collcetive, and customer service is a joke! They have my funds and I have received no information - so basically stealing! I have reached out to them several times, and they keep ignoring me.

Dishonest or blind company.

I have several hundred euros with Vinted, which subcontracts with Mangopay. They have been rejecting my ID documents daily for about ten days due to "expiration," even though my passport is perfectly valid. I also tried using my driver's license, which has no expiration date. No communication except through my complaints to Vinted. A company to avoid!

We're a marketplace platform contracted with MangoPay directly. It is IMPOSSIBLE to get a response from any of their teams (Billing, Support, Complaints etc.) If anyone knows how to get through, please tell me how!!!

This is the worst payment service…

This is the worst payment service anybody can deal with , I sold an item on Vinted and I was supposed to be credited but for more than two weeks now I haven’t been able to get access to either Vinted or mango pay .. Vinted is the worst company of this 21st century. How willA big company like Vinted not easily accessible when you want to make complaint .. i expected people to start suing them really soon ..
