Review Time
Sunglasses sent via optician agent to Maui Jim for lens replacement with a supposed 7-10 day turnaround. At £360 for both lenses these aren't exactly cheap. Took nearly a month in this hot sunny weather, no explanation just a verbal almost insincere apology via/from the optician. For first class price I would expect first class service. Second time I've had poor service from MJ (but can't fault their sunglasses, hence 2*).
One of the legs on my Big Beach sunglasses broke through age fatigue contacted MJ to see if they could help even though they have long been discontinued they repaired them free of charge all I had to pay was £12 return p&p etc but hey I still have the best pair of sunglasses I have ever had. Excellent customer service well done MAUI JIM
Came back from holiday to find the arm on my Banyans had broken.Contacted Maui Jim UK ,they sent me a link to return them for repair,they were repaired and returned with in a week at the cost of £12.Their team kept me updated throughout the process, couldn't ask for more👍🏻
I bought my first pair of Maui Jim sunglasses in the USA about 15 years ago. The best lenses I've ever had on sunglasses. Over time the coating on the arms chipped off. After 15 years of wear I wasn't surprised (I don't treat my sunglasses too well). Somebody suggested that I contact Maui Jim to see if they could repair the coating on the arms.I contacted Maui Jim who said that they'd replace the arms for a handling fee of £12, so I sent them off.Maui Jim informed me that the model I sent them had been discontinued and they couldn't get new arms.Later Tony Barron emailed me to say that he'd contacted colleagues in the USA and had found a pair of frames. My sunglasses arrived a few days later as good as new.Maui Jim have the best customer service I have ever encountered.
Have been an exclusive Maui Jim wearer for over 30 years...for good reason, quality and service! Recently sent in a pair of prescription sunglasses for repair to the Mississauga location. They replaced everything except the lens (obviously) and returned back to me with a week. Keep up the great service MJ ! You never fail to exceed expectations.
I recently sent my Maui Jim prescription sunglasses to be be repaired. The customer service and professionalism was nothing short of exemplary.The frames were 5 years old and i didn't think i would be able to get them repaired in time to go on holiday.They were repaired and sent back in record time.
I bought a pair of prescription Maui Jim sunglasses through an authorized optician about 3 years ago. I paid a large sum for these glasses and lens. They work well and I was very happy with them. I treat them with huge respect using the bag and case for them always and never leaving them on my head or just sitting around. I also only use proper cleaning cloths and fluid. They were in amazing shape when I accidentally broke a lens. Through my optician I have been advised Maui Jim is now unwilling, at my cost, to replace the lens. I guess I am expected to throw the other lens and the frames in the garbage. This is ridiculous when it is apparent they have the technology and know- how to do so. I’m not asking for a deal, Just a right to have a repair done through an authorized Maui Jim optician at a fair price.
