Was upsold a pair of Maui Jim's at Sunglass Hut that was suppose to be the best ever. Sales associate bragged about Maui Jim's amazing customer service. Took the plunge and paid over $300. Less than 2 months later one lens has a scratch .Went back to the store and the reply was like....uhhhhh sorry these are not glass they are plastic ( were told at the time of purchase they were glass) just call Maui Jims and they will take care of it. Called Maui Jim's and they want $75 plus shipping to repair.....Sorry Maui Jims last purchase here. Should have stuck with Costa.

Maui Jim are second to none.

My Maui Jim sunglasses have been one of the best purchases ever. Their lenses are second to none. When I wanted to change my lenses from prescriptive to non prescriptive - I went onto their website and organised it through their Australian workshop. The customer service was excellent and they replaced my frames as a courtesy. I received a brand new pair of sunglasses and I am over the moon. Cant recommend Maui Jim sunnies - and their customer service highly enough. Very fast service and shipping and regular updates on progress. Very very happy.

Returned sunglasses to repair scratched…

Returned sunglasses to repair scratched lens. It was the second time within a 12-month period and they graciously replaced the second set of lenses for free. I can't say enough about the excellent service provided by Maui Jim

Outstanding

I recently had to send my Muai's back for repair as stupidly I dropped and damaged them quite badly. I was contacted by the team so say they had repaired them as a courtesy and all I had to pay was processing and postage which I was delighted with. However when I got them back today, they have actually sent me a brand new pair!! I can't thank Maui Jims enough, outstanding customer service!

I bought a pair of Maui Jim "Seabreeze"…

I bought a pair of Maui Jim "Seabreeze" glasses in 2018 for $200. These were "limited"...and MJ said they could be repaired at a later date if they had the lenses/part. A few weeks ago I inquired about having the lenses on my glasses replaced. I got an email back...correctly listing my SEABREEZE glasses as the glasses I had purchased...and saying to SEND THEM IN for a repair. $10 of postage later..I did so. A week after that my wife got a call...and while they weren't HER glasses...she was asked what they should do about the repair BECAUSE THEY DID NOT HAVE THE LENSES TO FIX MY GLASSES. She felt pressured...being given only the option of "a 50% off coupon" on a new pair of glasses....so she said yes even though she's never been to the MJ site/has no knowledge about any of this. The 50% off option was NOT my choice. I wanted my glasses returned....and I contacted MJ ASAP and told them so......but I was then told my glasses had been "recycled"....and could not be sent back. They were fine to wear....I just wanted a minor chip on the lens fixed if possible. My guess is that the frames/ear pieces will now be used for repair parts. so now i'm out $10...a $200 pair of glasses..and the clowns want me to spend no less than $120 to replace them....when THEY were the ones who told me via email that they could fix them and to send them in. So very disappointed. I will never buy Lousy Jim glasses again.

I bought some amazing sunglasses from…

I bought some amazing sunglasses from Maui Jim, and I managed to cause a tiny bit of damage to them. Maui Jim support tram were excellent in fixing them and sending them back to me superfast. They were also very friendly and kind. Great people to deal with.

Great Customer service and repair

I've just had my sunglasses repaired by Maui jim and I have to compliment them on an excellent customer service. They responded to every email within a day and in most cases a few hours. Emailed to say they'd received my sunglasses, then to say they'd repaired them, then to say they'd posted them back. Less than a week from sending them off to repair and return. Great customer service. So important in big companies and they got it spot on.

I have worn Maui Jims for over 22…

I have worn Maui Jims for over 22 years. I actually buried my first pair that lasted about 10 years. Then just kept buying for fear you would stop making these incredible items.Just sent back a pair for refurbishment and Andy could not have been more helpful. Rock on Maui Jim!

I visited the Guildford repair centre…

I visited the Guildford repair centre and was assisted by Tony who could have not been more helpful and knowledgable. My glasses were too old to be repaired so he and a lovely lady helped me choose a new pair. Nothing was too much trouble , I felt a truly valued customer. This was Probably the best customer experience I have ever had! Thank you Tony you are an asset to Maui Jim and you and the lovely lady made my day.

Fabulous customer service

I recently managed to break one of the arms on my favourite pair of sunglasses, the Red Sands model by Maui Jim. I had purchased these in early 2018 and have found them to be awesome sunglasses, particularly when boating on the sea.I was able to identify that Maui Jim offers a repair service so duly lodged an order and sent off the glasses to the UK repair team. Sadly the package became embroiled with customs related red tape and so didn't arrive at the repair team. When I chased the item through mail tracking I received a call from a very pleasant and helpful lady in the customer services team who explained the problem (as a result of Brexit) with the package delivery, and that they had decided to replace the sunglasses, with a brand new pair.They have arrived this evening...and at no cost.These guys are awesome...thank you very much
