Boilers been down for 10 days no hot water or heating. Receive a txt saying fitter be with you as of todayCould somebody PLEASE explain why he came with no parts??????? So im still left as i was? Dont understand the visit today especially under lockdown?? Pointless

I am with livin housing association who I believe Mears have a contract with and do work for them I am not sure who is to blame for work not carried out or bodged as mears work men only do what livin tell them, This housing association is horrendous. I don't know how they get away with renting out houses that are practically falling apart. They do not want to spend any money on old houses and expect new tenants to put up with previous tenants damage. Absolutely disgraceful.

"genius" MEARS ""engeneer"

"genius" MEARS ""engeneer" Christopher who was visiting me Last Friday afternoon try to convict me if Thermostat is set to 20 degrees,showing current temperature 20,5 degrees and switching ON Boiler for heathing is normal because Thermostat is expecting temeerature will dropp soon :-))) And another "genius thing :-)) MEARS engeneer is send to appointment when customer complaint about faulty Thermostat wihout thermostat replacement and leaving customer wihout letting him know whay he is leaving and what happened next :-) After I call MAERS central again,they told me "engeneer ordered new thermostat and I must wait when they let me know when will be available for another appointment :-) So ridiculous :-)

if im honest wouldnt give them 1star, have left a household with children and an adult recovering from COVID19 with no heating over a cold weekend. with a pathetic excuse for an electric heater, no morals, rude customer care line. THESE INDIVIDUALS SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO TREAT PEOPLE IN THIS MANNER... AVOID AT ALL COST

Staff have a great laugh about a disabled person cold since 7am

Yet again Mears have cancelled an appointment with no notice or attempt to contact me. I am disabled and have been with no heating since 7am. When speaking to a very rude member of Mears staff they hung up. I was trying to make a new appointment and was told that i could not cancel the appointment if ill. When i pointed out that i would call if i was ill i was hung up on. I am sick and tired of been treated like something you find in the gutter by this company who found it funny that i had been cold since 7am, its now 2pm.

Bad job, bad workers, AVOID!

Mears DO NOT deserve any stars whatsoever! The incompetency of the most workers, half of them you can tell just got out of bed as soon as they knock at your door. Leeds City Council needs to review the contract they have with this company because I’ve actually had enough of the badly trained workers. And let me not even start on the receptionists.. rude, don’t care how they treat customers over the phone and how their workers conduct poor services.

Taking legal action

Still awaiting refund for the companys incompetence. Of a matter thats still on going Would highly recommend if this company are in charge of overseeing your buildings maintenance getting in touch with the landlord and causing enough commotion that they loose said contract. This is an entire cowboy outfit, the company needs dismantling and rebuilding from new as its rotten to the core at this point. Reviews are indicitive of the case in point

Some decent workman

So over the last few days we had a few people out from mears, not all of them were at an excellent standard!I must say Mears customer service are useless when it comes to telling their staff what they are meant be doing when they come out. However, today we had 2 lovely men Mark E and Mark D (will not give last names for confidentiality reasons) who done an excellent job putting our units back in after they had to be taken out due to a leak. With the way the units were fitted in 2013 (utter disgrace) the job took way longer than necessary, but they was happy, didn’t moan, went and got all the extra bits they needed and done the job properly! Thank you guys!

Don't deserve any stars!

Don't deserve any stars!. Rude Receptionists. Very often leave you hanging on the line. Then line goes dead! Always sending wrong people for the job ie electrician for plumbing work. So they take a photo obviously they cannot do the job. Weeks later send someone else to take another photo, this goes on for sometime. 3 of 4 photos later after complaints they send a plumber who still cannot complete the work. Basically incompetent Company had 3 years of there incompetents excuses , lack of communication.Rudeness sloppy work .also when they do make appointments they don't turn up and don't tell you so you don't find out anything unless you ring them. Stay away from this company.
