I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience. I was charged €45 for only 240 MB of data while roaming, even though my plan supposedly covers the EU and DOM. I didn't know the swiss is not covered. The interface does not show real-time usage and only notifies after limits are exceeded. On top of that, SEPA direct debit was not enabled, yet the system marked the payment as “paid,” making it confusing and difficult to track. This combination of exorbitant charges, poor transparency, and a misleading interface reflects very poor service. I hope Free.fr will urgently improve its billing clarity and user experience.
What can I say? I was sold a subscription in store 'without strings attached' ... After I realised the service wasn't working as it should I tried to cancel, which was in an of itself a nightmare with their very unhelpful phone agents. I finally eventually managd to cancel, but they're still trying to invoice me for a month I haven't used at all... So much about 'no strings attached'
Cancellation process is unclear. Even after requesting cancellation, I was still charged for two extra months. Customer service only accepts postal claims, which is very inconvenient for international users. Messenger support was clear, but overall a poor experience.
Free Mobile France...The subscription space on the site shows an old number that has been out of use for years. This number carries the message that it is not in service. I already knew this, since I cancelled it back then. But the number still remains listed and prevents the use of my new number. Because of this, I cannot download my new eSIM. Of course, they are quick to collect the payment, but providing service is another matter. I have therefore not been able to activate the number.Cancellation must be done by registered mail! Why can’t this simply be done by email? Putting obstacles in place just to make it harder for customers to cancel? How much more disdainful and unfriendly towards customers can you be? I am sickened by this kind of trickery.
VERY bad company. I took a €19.99 /350gb plan for my travel around Europe and noticed they took out alot more than the contract amount. Tried to get it sorted and all they kept saying (in french) was, you have to pay.Never felt with such a poor company 😡

They have fraudulently sold me a mobile plan although I only wanted a pay as you go as an occasional visitor. I made it clear to them but they still sold me a 'no strings attached' plan. Well, if I cancel my plan I lost my sim card they sold me as well as my number. I made my situation clear in store. Have been calling the customer service for a refund and they are unable to help. Stay away!!!!!!
