Review Time
Purchased knob for all my doors off their website and chose items in stock. I paid for next day air and they never arrived. I call to find out what is going because I needed these as part of a job that was going on at my house. I was told that they did not everything in stock and when I asked why didn't anyone call to tell me they didn't have an answer (super unprofessional), had I know this was going to take longer I would have ordered elsewhere, that is why I ordered these NEXTY DAY AIR. I was told that they could partially ship what was in stock and that the balance would ship the next week. I then call to get an update and they cannot provide me with one for the balance, I was told they have to email a request for status and that it could take days to hear back. I cannot believe the lack of customer service or the fact that they cannot get proper information, who operates like this?
Wow! I have to say, I was nervous about ordering knobs and hinges on line, but MyKnobs was incredible! What amazing customer services and the Emtek brass door knobs and hinges are beautiful and extremely high quality - and much cheaper thru Myknobs then through local knob companies I looked at. I first ordered the door knobs. I ordered one to make sure they would work and they were perfect. I then ordered the hinges in the same color (french antique brass)-but I ordered STEEL base hinges and not the brass hinges so the color was different enough to the knobs that I needed to reorder. MyKnobs made it so easy for me to return my steel based hinges and order the brass based ones. I did have to pay the shipping fee to return them, but they didn't charge me a re-stocking fee.And EVERYONE I talked to on the phone was so helpful and had clear notes about my order. The wait time on the phone can be a bit long- but if you hit option 5 they will absolutely call you back - and they were very quick about calling me back every time!I will absolutely use MYKNOBS if I need anymore hardware. They were awesome, have top-line products and customer service ALWAYS called me back quickly and were so helpful!
First, my door fixture was supposed to ship in 2-3 days, but did not arrive. Called customer service to cancel, but was not able to get through. Re-ordered from another company and arrived in the advertised time. Then, about 3 weeks later, I was still trying to get a refund from the purchase, and to my chagrin, a !defective! product suddenly arrived from MyKnobs (I was even more mad). Of course, again, could not get customer service to help send back or get a refund (bottom line, just ate the loss)... I wish I could give a negative star rating to this awful company...
I paid $407 for an entryway doorknob and deadbolt My contractor installed it in my new door and tried the key. The key won't come out. I took it to a lock smith and he told me the deadbolt is faulty. I filed a complaint with Myknobs and it took over a week for them to respond. Myknobs told me they would assess the problem and get back to me. I complained about 4 more times and threatened to file a complaint with the attorney general. I received a return label from them. I decided to buy another deadbolt instead, only because it's easier and less time consuming. I'm still filing a complaint with the attorney general though, as $407 is A LOT of money to spend for faulty items.
