What the actual hell is going on with this?? When did oneplus go downhill like this?? I had better customer service from other phone manufacturers and as someone who's been loyal since the OnePlus One, I URGE YOU TO NEVER PURCHASE A PHONE FROM THEM I sent my phone over for repair and it was received on Nov 29thThe website had absolutely no updates on the whereabouts of my phone, nor did the customer service I keep calling, no info. I provided tracking and the request ID, nothing. Today on Dec 11th I snapped. No one is responding and I finally threatened with legal action. Then from nowhere, suddenly they OVERCHARGE ME FOR REPLACING THE BATTERY AND OTHER ITEMS THAT SHOULDN'T BE FIXED BECAUSE THEYRE NOT BROKEN AND HAD THE AUDACITY TO DO THIS TO ME AFTER NOT YELLING ME WHERE MY PHONE IS.I have a feeling they stole my phone for spare parts!!!!
A number of weeks now trying to login to their website. After one pointless chat with an agent whose only advice was to clear my browser cache which only managed to delete all my stored passwords she then said she would escalate the issue. 3-5 business days she said was the response time. Of course this was a friday so we were talking the end of the following week. Got a response two weeks later from the same agent looking to link my phone number to account. So much for the escalation. Almost a month now and still no resolution. Oh yeah..also their rewards and coupon page is a scam. You can never use your any earned rewards alongside any item that is on sale. Almost every item is always "on sale" by some small amount and when you can find an item that you can use the voucher for it is almost invariably out of stock. I have bought a total of three phones off them this year alone as presents and one for myself. The product is good but their customer loyalty and custumer support is non -existent.
Terrible customer service.My order from Oneplus disappeared during shipping and now Oneplus want me to deliver a police report and a statement from their courier that the package has been lost or stolen.DONT BUY ANYTHING FROM ONEPLUS.If they dont deliver they take your money.
Purchased a Oneplus 10 and after owning for 1 year and 3 months it suddenly died and won't turn on. As per policy, it is out of warranty and all repairs are to be paid for out of pocket. I've owned 3 devices from them before and customer service's response was "I appreciate your decision".Options given were to send the phone in and pay $30 to assess the situation. Likely repair prices in the $350 range.Unfortunately I cannot upload pictures of the conversation on here but will gladly do so if anyone requires proof.
i bought a oneplus open with the trade in and the download button in the email they sent is not working to print the return label is not working, i contacted them many times and no help, what is so hard of resending the email with working picture link or send the label to my emailall they do is give me a link that lead to phobio and not even helpingif i get charge because they didnt send my return label on time.. i will make sure to file a lawsuit ..
Had the Oneplus 1, 5, 8T, and now the 11. Always really happy, only OnePlus has been negligent in delivering a phone case with the 11 (as advertised). Ordered a case from a third party, but while waiting for that to arrive, the back plate of the 11 cracked after 1,5 days while it was in my pocket with no other items in my pocket. (Phone was fine, got in the car, after a half hour drive, pulled the phone out of pocket, and it was cracked)Been in discussing with customer support for weeks now but they say : "The OnePlus 11 back casting is made of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 (GG5) and it is not possible for it to be shattered to this extend without an external force."I fully agree, and therefore this is a factory fault. The back plate was pressed with too much tension and therefore broke. When one would look at it you would see the corners are not broken, and this does not come from impact damage as they claim.They refuse to help me, and continuously hide behind their terms and conditions, instead of taking responsibility for delivering a faulty product. Costumer support keeps responding with really "sweet" messages, but are not helpful in any way.Now they want me to pay for a €124 repair that is a factory error. This is my 4th OnePlus phone, and their phones have always worked really well, but because of this incident it will be the last one I buy.Might as well shut down customer support.
I faced the problem of Green line in my One Plus 9 5G and submitted my phone back to Bangalore service center and they gave me a voucher to purchase another phone of one plus.The staff at the counter recommended one plus Nord5 and blocked my voucher for the same saying I will get the voucher code within 24 hours to my email. And with the code I am able to purchase another device. But the fact is, my requirement is 256GB . He didn't tell me that 256 GB is out of stock and this voucher is only eligible for 128 GB. Now 19th day, I have been following it up everyday, asking them to release my voucher so that I can purase any other 256 GB device. But it looks like they want to push Nord 128GB to complete their target sale. They just giving me reply saying 256GB out of stock. I do not have a phone right now. All my activities stopped as I'm using a old phone which is for only communication. So much of inconvenience. Why can't they release my voucher and let me buy what I want. Why this kind of pressure on customer to buy their product by blocking customer money. NO STOCK. FINE.. let me buy what is available in stock. More than 19 days they are holding my money. Calling customer care - THEY SAY WE CALL YOU BACK IN 48 HOURS. Why they don't disclose the full information? If the staff had informed me, the product is out if stock for infinite time, will I ever ask the staff at one plus to book that device for me? When the fault is at your end why do you make customer suffer? Please release my voucher or refund so that I can purcase a phone for myselfThx
The One Plus 10T model, which I bought in July 2023, has been having constant problems since the day I bought it. I couldn't stand it anymore and contacted the company and I definitely wanted to return it or replace it with a different model. The company said we only have the right to do so for 30 days. Unfortunately, they do not stand behind their products after the first 30 days. I sent it to a place that belongs to them, but the phone came back as it was; still the same problems continue. Never buy anything from this brand, your money is wasted and you are dealing with an institution that will never be able to help you.Even though we told them that I wanted to buy a different phone by giving them this model and paying the difference of the other model, they never accept it and do nothing to help.Yasin Dursun
