Never waste your money with OnePlus. Poor product poor customer service

Despite the service being stated to take 7 days, the phone was returned after a month. The phone sometimes restarts but mostly works. They claimed that it is due to water damage. As an electronics engineer, I can not understand how water-damaged phones operate. The restarts occur rarely but at critical times. This is definitely a software error. Moreover, they claimed they cannot replace the motherboard because it would be considered a type of phone import. They work for a third-party repair center that frequently rejects fixes, as indicated by reviews of the service center. This is my third OnePlus phone, and the latest one is terrible. I will never buy OnePlus again.Response to OP:I found that Google applications are crashing in the background. Disabling them helps. Any explanation to relate Google Apps- Water Damage? My device is not water damaged. It is not hardware error, it is software error. Any proof other than a cheap sticker outside of phone that turns to red, false positives reported a lot? You are using this as a shield against your customers. I also suggest you to read reviews about your repair center.

The black Friday sale was a fake

The black Friday sale was a fake, phones out of stock the whole time. Conveniently the stocks were replenished the day after the sale ended

Poor product and appalling customer service

I purchased the new Open directly from OnePlus, and had no issues with the purchase or delivery. The problems started with the protective case provided by OnePlus (in the box with the phone). I installed the case exactly as directed, however because a screen protector wasn't provided I ordered one from a third party. At this point I needed to remove the case protector that covered the edge of the outer screen to put the screen protector on. And that's when I noticed the damage. The case protector, instead of protecting the screen, appears to have been rubbing against it, causing marks to the screen. To be clear, this was before I put the third party screen protector on the phone. At no point did I expect a case provided by the manufacturer to damage the phone. I complained to OnePlus, but have found their customer service to be appalling. In essence they blame me, because their product can't possibly have damaged my phone. And yet it has. I've explained this to different members of their customer service and complaints team, but they don't care and are unwilling to do anything about it.This experience has definitely made me question buying a product from OnePlus again, which is a shame as I've bought from them since the 5T. And if I could, I'd send the phone back and buy from a company that shows some interest in their customers. And the response from OnePlus continues to show that they aren't willing to accept the concept that the damage is due to their faulty product. So by trusting that they're consistent in designing their case, I'm penalised. And they're not interested in providing any resolution.

People, you need to stop crying.

All I read is a lot of grown people acting like little kids. Want to see bad company? Ho to Samsung or apple. One can disable your phone for no reason(like they did in Mexico), other will ask for your arm and leg if you need to fix it. Have been with OnePlus since 3t, and have no major complains. Love this company. Every phone I had after 3t was from OnePlus. Thats the best Android phone company you can find on the market. Thank you for providing quality phones. More people should be appreciative.

Terrible customer service!

I sent phone in for repair at the end of August. I was sent an invoice for the repairs which I promptly paid. It's now thanksgiving and I still don't have my phone back. I've contacted Oneplus customer service about this several times. I sent in copies of all the information. They keep closing the ticket without resolving the problem and starting new tickets and asking me to explain it all over again. They stole my phone and over $200 that I paid for the repairs. OnePlus has the WORST customer service. DO NOT do business with this company.

NEVER AGAIN, TERRIBLE COMPANY

I have a OnePlus 10 pro 5g and in the last 6 months it has become faulty twice now with exactly the same fault. The phone registers as having no signal at all, no calls or texts or data. However it does recognise the sim which is Lebara. So it's obviously a software bug, as the first time it failed I sent it for repair under warranty and they simply reflashed the phone.6 months later exactly the same fault. Called OnePlus and they escalated to tech team. That was weeks ago and no reply to requests for update at all from this appalling company. Multiple emails sent with no reply at all.I had a OnePlus 6 and traded that for this 10 pro 5g.NEVER AGAIN, Will never buy any more one plus devices and will tell friends and family to avoid like the plague.

Great products, timely delivery

I ordered the OnePlus pad during the Black Friday sale and got the magnetic keyboard for free, and the stylus for 30% off. I was a bit apprehensive given the reviews I saw, but everything went well. I received my order 1 day before the estimated time, and everything has been working perfectly so far.

mystery box is not mystery

I ordered a mystery box for £ 9.99 and paid £4.99 for delivery, in my order details it shows that it is worth £ 84.99 , I received it a few days later and it was a supervooc 80w car charger not even worth £30, I contacted oneplus customer service via app, the representative answered me saying if you don't like you can return it, I said I'm discussing an issue with you, it is misleading and not good for the brand reputation, she said it was random, if what she said was right then no one of their team should know what is Inside the box, as it was visible and selected by them, it looks like oneplus doing this to push their unsold products, so it is a planned profitable campaign, not a customer treat, I would never buy from oneplus again, so shocked and let down.

Open an account for your chance of paying an extra £150!

I entered the OnePlus website, and a popup suggested a seemingly lucrative offer: open an account and get "£100 off on orders over £1000".So I did that. Then I went to try and purchase the new OnePlus open which is currently on a £250 off black Friday sale.Guess what? The £100 voucher off isn't working.I asked the customer support that confirmed that it doesn't work because of the black Friday sale.So what is it worth? They should market it as "open your account now so that if you wait to the end of the black Friday sale you could pay an extra £150 by getting just £100 off instead of £250!"(Don't get me wrong, it's fine not to offer the extra £100 on top of the £250, but be transparent about it and don't waste my time with this "open an account, it's worth your while" ad.)
