This is terrible customer service.

This is terrible customer service.Downloaded the app after my details were clearly passed on from Stitch fix. They have tried to send me a box but in have not received a box and don’t want it anyways.I have tried to contact multiple times over the last 6 months using the app too letting them no I have not got a box and that in I want to delete this account. I have a right to be forgotten under GDPR rules and yet cannot exercise my right. If I do not hear back I will be reporting them to the information commissioner.

Data sold on

Another customer here that was automatically moved to outfittery from stitch fix. Received a box I didn’t order. Didn’t open it (slightly only to get the return slip out) and returned in full, all clothes untouched. Received an email today telling me my card had been charged £49!! For what?! The fact that I had to go out of my way to return a box of overpriced (£500) of clothes I never requested was ridiculous enough, let alone to now be charged £49 and not even be told what for! Update: case has not been dealt with as they are not accepting fault / possible issues with delivery company. And now they can’t even reply to complaints on here to the correct name/customer!

Wouldn't recommend

Having tried other similar services, I would not recommend Outfittery. Prices are expensive for the quality of clothing I received and the return process is not transparent e.g. you cannot see a summary of how much you are being charged at the point when you choose clothing to keep and are not charged until the return is processed.Outfittery also sent me an email promo code for my first order and in my judgement hid the fine print that this promo code only applied if I kept £100 worth of goods, so watch out for this one. This would have been obvious had they provided me with billing at the point of requesting the return as many other services do. Most of the paperwork for this is in the form of pdf invoices emailed around and not on their website.Subscription clothing orders are supposed to remove stress from the process but the way Outfittery handles returns and order information does not do this.In addition, support takes way too long and if you have an issue, it won't be resolved in a reasonable timeframe.

Charged for an item I did not keep

I had a similar experience to other customers on here: my details were given to Outfitters after Stitch Fix went under. I received a box that I did not want so I sent the whole thing back. Now I am being charged £80 for a jacket that I definitely did not keep.

Demanding payment for clothes I didn’t order

I was a stitchfix customer. I ignored emails from outfittery saying that a box had been sent, assuming it was a scam because I knew I hadn’t ordered anything from anyone. Then I got emails saying I had to collect the box from the post office. I emailed outfittery to say that I didn’t want the box and wouldn’t be fetching it, also asked them to delete my info. A few weeks later I received more emails demanding payment. I emailed them again saying I won’t be paying because I didn’t order the box and I didn’t actually have any clothes. Lo and behold, the box turned up with Royal Mail the next day. It clearly says on the box that it hadn’t been delivered before then. My partner has taken a video of me opening the box, counting all the items, returning all the items to the box and then taping it up. After reading all the reviews we thought it safer to video us putting all the clothes back, so we do not get charged for an item like others seem to have been done. I have taken photos of the postage labels too and we have copies of the tracker. I will be sending the box back tomorrow. We have also contacted BBC Watchdog. What a shocking way to do business.

My details were sold to this company…

My details were sold to this company after stitch fix went under. I did not request an order or make an account with them but they sent me a boxy anyway - to my old address! Because of course these unknowingly sold details were out of date. Now I have to take the time to sort out this mess before they charge me £500 for an unwanted order.

Avoid

I was a very satisfied StitchFix customer so I thought I’d give Outfittery a try. Once I received my first box and returned a few items, I received a payment request. I paid using my usual Debit Card. Outfittery declined my payment. There is nothing wrong with my card as it’s the only one I have and I use it all the time. I immediately contacted the company to ask for help. It’s now been two weeks. All my emails remain unanswered, I only receive automated replies telling me to be patient because they have long waiting times. However, they keep writing to me asking for payment and today I received another mail threatening me with an additional fee if I do not pay up.I have written again asking for help. I also tried the phone number on their website and the line went dead. Their “customer service” is non-existent. Steer clear.

Non-existent Customer Service

Got transferred over to outfittery after stitchfix closed down, didn't request this, all emails went to junk and suddenly a box arrived at my door. Returned all items and requested account closed to no response. Have since received numerous requests to pay an outstanding invoice for an item I didn't keep.No response to emails, no response to phone calls. no obvious way of closing account. Shockign

Lack of Communication

I was a previous StitchFix customer but I did not agree to my data being sold to Outfittery in the way it has under the assumption that I would continue to pay for a service from a completely different company! I sent an email to Outfittery over 1 week ago asking to be removed as a customer and received an automatic response indicating they were experiencing a high volume of inquiries and will get back as soon as possible. I am frustrated to then find complaints here on TrustPilot being replied to within 1 day. I would like my data and account to be deleted from Outfittery
