Fraudulent account and order

I am very concerned reading these reviews as I have also had an email today saying an order of over £500 is on its way and I'll have 14 days to pay it. I previously had an account with stitchfix and it looks as if they have sold outfittery my details (breach of GDPR!). I did not authorise the account that has been made or the order. I have sent an email and plan to refuse the delivery but I am scared that they will still try to get the money from me and send debt collectors. Not only can I not afford this (irresponsible credit/lending?), but I am planning on moving for work and will need to provide a credit check.

It’s a scam.

It’s a scam. They sent out an unsolicited box to my address which was returned to the delivery person.I informed them that I did not make the order and to remove me from their database.Several months later I’ve now received a letter threatening to send me to a collections agency unless I pay them £500!! Tried to call them and the call got cut off but have just sent an email but not hopeful for a response from these reviews.I have not received nor requested any goods from this “company”.Please note they have also claimed to get peoples information from Stitchfix. This is a clear breach of GDPR which states that the subject of the data has to confirm their permission for the data to be shared using an affirmative action. Claiming to have sent out emails with an opt out link does not satisfy this requirement.

Still overcharged a month after...

Still overcharged a month after...As a happy Stitch Fix customer transferred over to give outfittery a try. Ordered with £25 off promotion.Box arrived, retained 2 items and returned the rest. First I was charged for 3 items, then after a lot of emails and calls I was part refunded for that item in effect losing the £25 off. Despite more emails and calls, and explaining the situation to multiple people, I've not had the further £25 refunded.Appreciate this is a small amount given what some people are experiencing but it's ridiculous how long it takes to resolve an issue.

Outfittery stitch up

Update. Outfittery reached out and have resolved my issue. To be fair, once they took up the problem they sorted it quickly with little fuss, so I’ve updated my rating to recognise this.Received a letter out of the blue threatening to hand my overdue account over to a collections agency. Interesting as I've never had an account with Outfittery and have no idea why I'd owe them money. Tried to call customer services in the UK, but gave up after 40-minutes on hold.

Received a box of clothes from outfittery that i did not sign up for or request. Rang company and asked to close account. Returned box and all items back. I am receiving emails requesting a payment which i do not owe and outfittery are threatening debt collection. I have tryed to contact via phone but no answer and sent multiple emails with no response. This is very stressful. How do i resolve this ?

THIS IS A SCAM

I recieved a box of clothes I did not order due to my details being sold to them, along with my bank details. I raised a complaint, recieved a returns label which does not download. I requested a further label, haven’t received this. I cancelled my card, Outfittery have managed to take the payment. I have no account to close, no way of phoning them, they have £400 of my money. Terrible company. This is SCAM. Trading Standards have been informed. Please can your Customer Care Team support rather than leave us with clothes we cannot wear and a huge bill we cannot afford.

They acknowledged I don't have an account, keep sending me boxes anyway, impossible to contact.

Outfittery have sent me a box of clothes which I don't want. I am not a customer, and I never made an account or placed an order. I do not want to use Outfittery. I *think* I was transferred across from Stitchfix, but I have no way of knowing. After returning the box, Outfittery have made it incredibly difficult to remove myself from their database. Here is the abridged version of my tale of woe:1. March 2024: Outfittery send me a box. I return the box.2. I email Outfittery customer service and explain the situation. They clarify I don't have an account linked with my email, but then don't respond to my further emails.3. April 2024: I get another box. I email Outfittery again. They advise me 'to ensure a swift resolution, we recommend initiating the cancellation directly through your dashboard'. I explain I do not have an account so I am unable to log in and access any dashboard. They don't respond to my follow-ups.4. I try to ring Outfittery on three separate occasions, but after waiting on hold, each time it eventually hung up saying all their operators are busy. Please just let me cancel, your dire customer service is giving me a headache and I'm not even a customer. Would not recommend.EDIT: changed from 1 star to 2 stars because AFTER this review was posted I got a smooth resolution.

Avoid

Avoid. They sent me a box I didn’t order. They eventually collected. But they took £415 from my account that is surely a GDPR breech. I cannot get them to reply to my emails. They have basically stolen £415 from me HELP!!

No customer service only automated emails

I was also transferred over from stitch fix and decided to give it a go. I didn't like any of the items and sent the whole box back. They responded to say I had to pay £59.99 for a top. I had already returned the top. I emailed them straight away on 10th May. Today is 27th May and I've had no response to my email. But they've continued to ask me to pay up. Today's email from them includes a fine and a threat to send debt collectors. All I get from them is automated emails. This is really stressful and very unprofessional. 17 days to respond to an email but their automated threats keep coming.
