Here’s the long story summarized: Bought 75k Cooper tires from pep boys, they damaged my wheels, they refused to fix/pay. At 30k miles, brought my vehicle in to get tires rebalance since I was getting vibration, and an oil change. Shop does oil change, puts 7.5qts of oil into my 5.9qt vehicle causing engine issues. Pay to get those fixed at another shop. $250, then get on the road and my vehicle starts shaking uncontrollably. Took to another PepBoys 3 cities over as I broke down. That store manager informs me that my tires are all defective, severely separated and could’ve put my entire family’s life in danger on the highway. Also informs me that this damage would’ve been clearly visible and illegal to put these wheel back on my vehicle 120miles earlier at the first pep boys shop. Had to buy new tires… Called corporate and got the “we will have someone call you”, kept calling them back every 3 days and now 11 days later I have yet to have ANY response or solution from them. Most inept shop I have ever used, and so far the worst customer service I have ever experienced.
Pep boys is a scam!! We had rear breaks replaced by them. They totally messed up the job and caused additional damage. Used very cheap parts as replacement and claimes to use parts from „dealership“! We had to take the car back twice to them because the parking break was stuck after their break job… another shop had to fix it eventually because they were not capable of doing it! also personal was very rude and tried to intemidate me (smaller female…). Please don‘t go to pep boys.. it‘s a scam.
I was suppose to get an oil change and my tires switched around only to find out the next they didn’t even put enough oil that was suppose to go in my jeep. They never switched my tires. t waited for 2hrs and they charged me $95.03 for nothing. I advise know one to go to them!!!!! I must say I called the corporate office and was refunded
Recently went to pep boys for 4 tires. They dismantled my brakes and calipers with out asking me. When they re installed them. I had a very loud squell when I backed up.id have appreciated it if they just changed my tires. I can handle the brakes on my own.their sad attempt to drum up business in a failing company is not the consumers fault.
The Mgr., I believe his name is Francis, he was professional, showed concern for my mechanical issues. He was in direct contact with the mechanics working on my vehicle. Francis put me back in (good spirits), after the HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE I had at your Paterson, NJ location. You need more employees like Francis...
WELL, I brought my car in April for almost a thousand and May for a 3290.00 for an oil leak problem little over a month!!!!!! And now June for almost 400.00. Are you kidding me????Still leaking oil, almost 5,000.00 and cannot repair. Losers, waste of my time and money! I am under warranty 90 days. However, watch out for the rip-off hidden warranty they charge without your knowledge. Actually, they are supposed to refund the almost 400.00 hidden warranty. Not seen yet!!! MY OIL pan and gasket is under under warranty for 90 days and They will repair or I WILL SUE! Tired of all the money and No repair with wasting my work time! Oh! Almost forgot! The June experience I had - Charged me 161.00 for a 49.95 part! You do the math! I complained, but they said that is what all Pepboys charge across the US. What a joke? SO, obviously we the people have to pay inflated rate for other cities in this country!
HI EVERYONE, THIS IS VEGASFLETCH. I DROPPED MY 2012 FORD ESCAPE OFF AT PEPBOYS 637 E. SAHARA LAS VEGAS, NV BUT FIRST I MADE AN APPOINTMENT THROUGH A YOUNG MAN WOSE NAME IS BODIN. THEY WERE BUSY AND HE SAID HE COULD TAKE ME THE NEXT SATURDAY AT8:30AM. I SAID GREAT BECAUSE I WOULD NEED TO DROP MY 2012 FORD ESCAPE FOR A TUNE UP, OIL CHANGE, BRAKE AND ROTOR CHANGE AND NEW BELTS. BODIN TOOK CARE OF IT ALONG WITH MASTER MECHANIC JOSH. WHEN I DROPPED OFF MY SUV, JOSH TOOK CARE OF THE PAPERWORK AND BODIN SAID IT WILL BE READY ON MONDAY! WOW, THEY WERE EXACTLY RIGHT. THEY HAD A LOT OF CUSTOMERS BUT MOST WERE LIKE OIL CHANGES AND FIXING FLATS AND THINGS LIKE THAT. I ASKED BODIN AND JOSH TO KEEP ALL THE PARTS AND THEY DID. I WAS VERY IMPRESSED BY THEIR FRIENDLY PROFESSIONALISM AND KNOWLEDGE OF WHAT THEY HAD TO DO. THEY KEPT ME INFORMED AS TIME WENT ON AND EVERYTHING WAS SEAMLESS. WOW! I GIVE BODIN AND JOSH 5 STARS WITHOUT A DOUBT. THEY MAKE A GREAT TEAM AND THEY ARE STRAIGHT UP FAIR AND TELL IT LIKE IT IS. THANKS AGAIN BODIN AND JOSH AND IF YOU HAPPEN TO GO TO PEPBOYS AT 637 E. SAHARA, TELL THEM YOU READ MY 5 STAR COMMENT. YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU MIGHT GET!
My husband was just there trying to get his van serviced at this location 4397 N Pine Island RD, Sunrise, FL 33351. The guy at the front desk was so rude to him. The minute he walked in he said he’s on conference and told my husband that he can’t help him and that he must wait. So, my husband said he can’t wait. He tried looking up his name in the system, but couldn’t find it, so he literally told him I shouldn’t even be helping you anyway. He didn’t catch his name, because as the guy was continuing talking and being rude my husband walked away.What kind of customer service is this? He could’ve been a little more professional about how he talked to my husband or anyone else. Not sure if he was the manager and if he was then you need to train your managers to be a little more professional when talking to customers. We’ve been to this pep boys before, but now you guys lost our business. TRAIN your staff to be more professional to customers.In my previous review I had put Pep Boys on Commercial, but it's actually the Pep Boys on Pine Island.
Beware! Pep Boys is terrible.If I could give them 0 stars, I would.Customer service is horrendous.Took my car in 4 times to get the AC fixed.They just kept saying it was a different problem and charged me thousands over the course of a few months.Guess what, AC is still not working and they want to charge me another $800.Avoid this repair shop at all costs!
