Ripping off customer by providing a…

Ripping off customer by providing a refundable option and charging them and then cancelling their request for refund by wrong reason not provided while booking the ticket. Gonna take it to everywhere I can and raise issues to consumer Court to remove them from ticketek and ban them forever.1. I am still within 60 days of booking and well before the scheduled event date.2. The tickets are currently sold out on Ticketek, so if you relist my ticket, it will most likely sell again before the event. Therefore, there would be no loss to you or Ticketek and expected for refundable ticket ( but for me it loss either way)Please look at my request which I submitted for my refundable ticket.Hi, I have 2 bookings made on the same day1. Xxx hiding for privacy- For 2 adults and Non Refundable and2. Yyy hiding for privacy- as a refundable ticket since I am not sure at that time if my 10 year old child can attend this event or not due to loud event and child appropriate. While watching an online event on youtube for the Singer and reading the comments from other parents, it seems like it is not suitable for a 10 year old as she is sensitive to loud music hence wanting to cancel this ticket. While booking the ticket there is no mention of checking any listed reason but do not want to enforce my child due to sensitivity of noise hence expecting you would able to cancel this and provide a refund.I have sent all the details to your email as well with the subject - Refund Issue for refundable ticket for child - B415BECE

Absolute scam

Completely unreasonable and does not honour their terms and conditions. Purchased tickets to an event pre-pregnancy and unfortunately received the news that my pregnancy is high risk for a life threatening condition. A doctors certificate confirming my pregnancy wasn’t enough, so after providing another certificate with “the date that it occurred,” “the details of the complication” and stating that it’s “preventing me from attending” due to being unsafe, it’s still not good enough for them to process a refund. Their terms and conditions don’t stipulate any additional details than these. To avoid any delay, I’ve had to disclose some very personal health issues so I can get more clarity on what exactly the certificate needs to mention (as it’s not stated on their terms and conditions). Pregnancy complications are an extremely sensitive topic and I’m disgusted with their absolute lack of empathy and training on handling this matter. I’m already under extreme emotional stress due to my condition and they are only making it worse. This company lacks any moral responsibility and they are in breach of Australian consumer laws. I will be lodging a complaint to fair trading and escalating this issue further

Very disappointed – insurance did not cover my COVID illness

I bought insurance from Refundable.me in good faith when registering for the Chicago Marathon, trusting that it would protect me if I got sick. Unfortunately, when I tested positive for COVID and was unable to travel or participate, my claim was largely rejected. In Iceland, where I live, national health regulations prevented me from seeing a doctor in person, so I followed all the proper procedures under local law. Despite this, Refundable.me refused a full refund and offered only 50% back as a “gesture.”It feels deeply unfair to be penalized for following health rules and being honest about my situation. The policy clearly fails to consider real-life circumstances. I would not recommend this insurance — it was not money well spent.

I do not recommend Refundable.me - They seem to use every technicality against you

I purchased a refundable ticket for the Chicago marathon in case disaster would strike and I would not be able to attend the event and delay my dream of finishing the Big 7. Unfortunately I got Covid a few days prior to the run and was unable to travel from my home country to attend. I followed all official national guidelines and protocol to obtain the medical evidence needed. When this evidence was reviewed by the refundable.me team it was found to be insufficient and I was asked for more evidence or changes to the evidence I had provided. Despite pointing out to the team that medical professionals have protocols and guidelines that are based on scientific best knowledge, and that these protocols can be different between countries, my request was refused. The team rather condescendingly pointed our to me that I had signed the terms of service. I tried to explain that even tough I had signed the terms of service the health authorities of my country did not - So it seems the team from refundable.me chose to hold tight to a legal technicality that suits them instead of evaluating the case based on what is fair and reasonable. I am very unsatisfied with their service and absolutely do not recommend their service.

I would give a rating of 0 - they are pure scammers...

I would give a rating of 0. I have developed a severe exacerbation of my asthma. I had bought the enhanced refundable insurance and I had up till 22.10.2025. I attended my GP on the 21.10.2025, he wrote a letter stating that he assess me on the 21.10.2025 and based on his assessment on THAT day - I am not going to be able to fly and therefore I cant go to the hotel. I receive an email from the team - saying thank you for putting in a refund request for my father ??!! and can you get the doctors letter to state when the condition first flared up. This is all irrelevant - the GP has written a letter stating he reviewed me on this date xx and I am not fit to fly as I have a severe exacerbation of my asthma.

Genuinely a scam

Genuinely a scam, for Manchester marathon to be linked I will be telling people not to bother with either. My partner is having our first baby due the same week as the marathon, so I paid £13 for the refund option, not knowing my partner was pregnant until a few weeks after, requested a refund as soon as found out, attached midwife letter and scan proof as this has my name attached, they say I a cannot get a refund as it is get this a “normal pregnancy” what does that even mean?! I have checked on Manchester marathon website and the site they attached to check the withdrawal policy and all state that in case of pregnancy a refund can be granted, if I could attach pics to this review proving it I would, I have sent the proof to refundable.me refunds team but am sure it will fall on deaf ears, yes I’m not the one having the baby but I still need to be there for my family, it’s an absolute disgrace, seeing everyone else’s stories justifies that the refund option is a complete waste of time, shame on refundable.me and shame on Manchester marathon for allowing things like this to happen,

After giving my banking info, two dr notes and a lot of personal info I am still being denied!! Scam

I booked a round flight through Flighthub and pay extra for their “refund protection”. Two days before my return flight I requested a refund because my father was admitted to hospital with life threatening conditions. I was required to provide all my banking information then they required a doctor’s note, then proof of purchase of their refund protection, then a more detailed doctors note, followed by proof my dad is my dad because our last names differ. Both doctors’ notes listed me as his daughter and his power of attorney and health decision maker. I even went as far as send them a copy of the Power Of Attorney. There is no address or phone number on their website refundable.me .This is a complete scam. I have since reported them to the better business bureau and have been in contact with news networks. I will continue to vent until they are shut down.
