We purchased a car from Steven eagell…

We purchased a car from Steven eagell Cambridge and had the most helpful and understanding sales executive Frederick Bols. He was very friendly and polite and not pushy at all. He communicated with us all the way through our purchase. I would strongly recommended this dealership and to have Freddie as your salesman. He is an asset to the sales team. wouldn't hesitate to go back.

It’s an humble request to all who are…

It’s an humble request to all who are planning to buy a car from Steven Eagell Toyota specially from Solihull branch . Didn’t had such a horrible experience , You go to a proper Toyota showroom because they are straight from the company , I bought a Toyota Yaris 2015 after doing all the paper work the sale guy said it’s doesn’t have V5 after 2 month received the V5 received the car last week car battery was gone after a review they changed the battery did told them about the change of colour in different part of the car . Now I requested to change the car and because it’s been more then 28 days but practically I have received the car just 15 days but the purchase was done in April I can’t get the refund of exchange . They told me to get to any Steven Eagell Toyota to part exchange I went to the Northampton branch can’t believe they offered me £4800 . This people are real cheat . Please don’t buy any cars from Steven Eagell Toyota specially Solihull branch .

2023: Steven Eagell Toyota Oxford Kidlington - the horror continues!

2023: Steven Eagell Toyota Oxford Kidlington - the horror continues! After the change from Inchcape to Steven Eagell the service manager stayed the same and everything is as before. The level of the service and willingness to help clients stay the same poor as before (not talking about the mechanics themselves). The new general manager is just ignoring official complaints - a useless person. The new car which I was forced to buy here after my first car was killed at this place is having a faulty 12V battery and they are not willing to change it under the warranty without a very painful long process which includes me losing my time and nerves. The car was in service with them, but no one even mentioned this issue. I found out when I couldn't start my two years old car. The speed of their help forced me to buy jump start!!This place is giving a really bad name to Toyota.Oh! They are great at sales harassment.2022: My first experience with Inchape Toyota Oxford Kidlington was not very good when I brought my car for a repair. They booked it for an incorrect problem, so they did not reserve enough time for the investigation or they would not be aware of me coming in at all, etc... I was not allowed to talk to the mechanics. The communication with me as a customer was poor and there was a lack of communication between the employees too. I was repeatedly disappointed and I had to officially complain. Money were pulled out of my pocket, but the health of my car just declined. The service manager was doing everything to stop me from taking the car for a second opinion somewhere else. My car was taken apart and kept in air and I was told that it is 3K to fix the electrical issue. Basically I was forced to trade the car for a new one which I will need to pay for the following years. Then the horror continued... I paid for a special surface treatments for the interior and exterior, the label was stuck on my window, but the treatments were never applied... The 12 V battery in the new car is faulty and they are not willing to change it under the warranty without a long painful process of proving that it is faulty. Obviously the fact that I cannot start a 2 years old car which I bought from them is a normal thing, I was told it's common problem with hybrids (BS)The worst experience ever!

AVOID Steven Eavell - Corrupt and Mercenary

Great at getting you a good deal when your wanting to buy. Even better at letting you down when the deal no longer suits them. After paying a deposit, agreeing a px value and waiting 8 months for delivery, these scammers pulled out of the deal trying to lower my px value by £9500 to reflect the drop in value in the ev market. These things happen, but a deal is a deal - they took away my opportunity to sell my car 8 months ago when it was worth something. Their in breach of contract, so off to court it is. They lie, cheat and try bribing you. Deal with them at your own risk. Ps. I finally went to these jokers after finding Steven Eagell Aylesbury and Milton Keynes were happy to mess you around while trying to negotiate a deal. Perhaps the whole franchise is corrupt and mercenary. And yes, N’Hants branch, I’ve already complained to your head office and heard nothing back. Toyota GB aren’t interested either. A shame as Toyotas seem to be great cars, but not worth the agro dealing with crooks.Update 28-7-23:The standard copy and paste reply from head office below tells you everything you need to know about this lot. Contempt for their customers and not even having the courtesy to read the complaint. If they had read it, they would have read I have already contacted head office and not had any reply.

Online sales issues

Purchase a vehicle remotely, on the damage that was visible agreed they would put right but when arrived vehicle was in a worse condition than advertised and the damage they agreed they put right not done correctly.Even though it was clear they are now refusing to refund deposit.Don’t waste your time on this firm they are clearly unethical from their behaviours and they represent Toyota Uk which is surprising.

What do I say about Steven Eagell…

What do I say about Steven Eagell Letchworth, having happily purchased a vehicle in 2020, things seem to have gone down hill from there. What from sales staff ringing to say that I needed to call into the dealership as soon as possible for Financial Review of my PCP (despite the finance agreement actually being provided and managed by Toyota UK) and that I won't be calling in, as I live over 150 miles from Letchworth, or that I was one of five customers who qualified for a special deal, through a sales person calling to say that they desperate for my vehicle and what Toyota did I actually drive!!!!! Now don't they bother looking at my details on their system???Plus this all seems like underhand sales tactics of old, when salesmen would try draw you in with a half truth or false promise. Now have to wonder if Steven Eagell higher management actually encourage this 1990’s, early 2000’s sort of sales practice?I have been asked to contact Steven Eagell with expanded details of my frustations/review, which I now have done (24:7:23). So I'm now waiting to hear back!!!! 🤞3:8:23 Here we are, over ten days later, and I'm still waiting to hear back from Steven Eagell's.... But somehow I suspect that I never will, and their silence sort of speaks volumes as to how much interest they have in my complaint/frustrations. Now one can only conclude that they've simply grown too big to care??? Oh well, a lesson learnt on my part, as a low vehicle purchase price doesn't mean that that the dealer is interested in customer satisfaction

I had an appointment at Steven Eagle…

I had an appointment at Steven Eagle Toyota Cambridge Coldham lane on 15th of March to program my spare key for my Toyota corolla estate and once they finished after long time waiting, one of the service team who I know his name told me that the technican who was programming my key, he lost the metal part of my key and they couldn't find it.Then they told me by tomorrow if we couldn't find your metal key we are gonna to order a new key for you, since that date 15/03 until now, they didn't send the new key for me and I tried to contact them over the phone, they didn't give any clear answer saying one of our customer service is going to give me a call back and give me an update about this issue but no one call me back and this situation happened about three times, the last time I went to the office and met with the Mathew Stone who the person was spoken to me on the first time when I went to do programming of my key and he told me we have a problem with the suppliers parts and through 28 days I promise you we will send the new metal part key into your adress and you don't have to come back again, I asked this person to send me this details by email as confirmation from them side and send email to the Toyota dealer that I bought my car from them and let them know about this details as they waiting the invoice of the cost to refund me but he didn't send anything although he promised me he gonna to do that, now and after four months now I am still waiting any reply from them, I really didn't trust them any more, my car now need regular service but I will never deal with them any more.

They simply do not answer their phones

They simply do not answer their phones. I have left a message on the vehicle repair dept and not received a reply. I have just rung the service department and they do not answer the phone. Very poor.

Steven Eagell Toyota - Solihull

I had always been a loyal Toyota customer owning over 3 Aygo’s and an IQ when I decided to try a different make of car, but after 4 years owning a Mini I decided I wanted a change and decided to come back to Toyota, as I was always so pleased plus the customer service was always amazing. I have always brought my cars from Toyota - Fort Dunlop, but as my husband and myself was passing the Solihull showroom we decided to pop in.Well after the experience I had wished I had looked elsewhere or even tried a different dealership. The whole thing from start to finish was a nightmare and so stressful, as it left me feeling extremely angry and upset.I used to love that exciting feeling you get from buying a brand new car, well they completely ruined it for me!!I made numerous calls which were never passed over to the sales person I was dealing with and on the actual day I collected my car it wasn’t ready.A manager apologised to me whilst I was waiting after I told him about all the calls I’d made which were never returned. It was at this point I was offered flowers as a way of an apology and the all important questionnaire was mentioned. I was told that if I gave them a score of 10 he would sort me out with a tank of fuel. The manager then checked to see if my car was ready… The boot liner and mats I ordered hadn’t been fitted and to top it off this particular manager had to drop me back to work whilst I waited for them to put fuel into my new car. Another thing that hadn’t been done either!!The car I purchased was in the showroom, so there was no reason as to why it shouldn’t have been ready for me to collect on the agreed date and at the agreed time too! The manger who dropped me home mentioned yet again that if I gave them a good review when the questionnaire came through he would sort me out as promised and that he would follow up with a courtesy call in a week or two.The flowers I was promised as a way of an apology never came, not that I’m bothered tbh. I did have the follow up call, but guess what?? It was to chase up my responses to the questionnaire which had been emailed to me. What a surprise! One final thing if it wasn’t for a puncture I received a few days later I wouldn’t have found out that the tyres on my vehicle were over inflated. They should be around 36/37psi and they were inflated to 52psi. It’s a good job I’m not a motorway driver!!!To say I’m disgusted is an understatement. I feel so undervalued as a customer I really do and the fact that a manager tried to bribe me for a good review is shocking, mind you they couldn’t even do that properly let alone send me a bunch of flowers. I love my car don’t get me wrong, just didn’t realise how much things had changed in 4 years.
