We purchased a Toyota Yaris from Steven Eagell Cambridge. Niall Alvorado helped us through the decision-making process in choosing an excellent vehicle we are very happy with. It made the whole experience extremely smooth and he was extremely professional throughout! Similarly, Emilee Drayton helped us with the car handover and sorting out the paperwork. Highly recommend the dealership for their professionalism! A well-run place.
I popped into Toyota St Albans on my way home one day to get a headlight bulb. It was way cheaper than my local Toyota branch. I started purchasing other parts and realised I was saving a whole lot with genuine parts. Since then I get all my parts there. I just contact Peter and in a few days parts available. Peter is honest,very helpful and keen to sell. If you looking for anything Toyota I would highly recommend Peter.
We booked our car in for MOT and service in January, in August we get a call saying the service was never done (news to me!) and could we book it in for service, so we did. On the day the collection was 5 and a half hours late because they couldn’t find our house and decided instead of calling us to go back to the depot with no communication. 5 phone calls later they returned and driver told me he was sent to the wrong address, so it wasn’t that they got lost, not sure why the branch felt the need to lie but if they are going to lie it’d probably be wise to loop the driver in otherwise he’ll let the cat out of the bag. Service complete apart from an issue whereby we had a new 12V battery so they couldn’t test the battery (they fitted the battery a few months ago so you’d assume they’d have known that but there we are). Anyhow, it’s currently 7:15pm and despite being told the car was being brought back at 4pm it’s still not here and the branch is closed. Not the greatest experience. It seems with this place that when the one guy (Dan Tromans) isn’t there it all falls apart. Second time we’ve had this kind of experience. Absolute jokers.
Not impressed, bought an IQ and exchanged my Yaris, Toyota now owe me money. I was not given the current MOT nor any of the Service paperwork. Was supposed to have been sent out last Wednesday, when I phoned to chase up she had no idea when it was sent or if and said I would just have to wait for it. No idea either when I will get my money, they are quick to take deposits but if they owe you money then who knows. Love the IQ though, just wish Customer Service was as good as the car.
Following a thoroughly disappointing experience elsewhere I enquired about a test drive of a new car at another main dealer, Stephen Eagell in Tunbridge Wells. Sales Executive Brandon Wood arranged the test drive at a time to suit me and while there made sure I was able to thoroughly test the car, answered all my questions and went out of his way to show me colour options on physical cars as well as the samples. A very positive experience. I highly recommend this dealership and staff.
Ordered a new Toyota Yaris in October 2022 in Milton Keynes Steven Eagell Toyota. Original estimate arrival date was in March 2023. Called and emailed the salesperson a couple times in March about the latest schedule, but salesperson never call back and reply. Raised a complaint to Steven Eagell, eventually sales controller contact us for the latest schedule, and he promised will let another salesperson handle the case. Dealer is 'powerless' to get a delivery date from Toyota. The car was pushed to late July. Turnout the previous salesperson contact us to pickup the car. Now still cannot pickup the car due to paperwork not finish and cannot get in touch with both salesperson.The culture in Toyota is a mess. Thanks for the update Toyota GB, I have no confidence in the dealer at all.
Steven Eagle Rayleigh must be the worst Toyota dealers going nothing like lookers . Took my 1 year old hilux for a Toyota recall and the week beforehand had 2 calls from customer services to make sure i was coming . Upon arrival they took my truck to another workshop somewhere on the estate and i sat around for over an hour only to chase them up how long and was told they cant get internet connection to download the recall programme .i thought we were in modern times all businesses had internet lol
Having ordered a particular Corolla, I changed my mind 6 weeks after placing the order as I wanted to have automatically retractable wing mirrors and one or two other features. The Steven Eagell sales people were absolutely fine about it but the change meant about a 10-month delay. Oliver rang me with updates at least every two weeks throughout that time. When the car finally arrived the handover was smooth and all new features fully explained. Also they helped me set up the App which enhances those features (though this took a long time, but its not their fault there’s poor phone signal at the Chelmsford showroom).They couldn't do enough to make sure it was a good experience and that I knew how to use the lovely new car and I suspect that many of the difficulties I see highlighted are perhaps often down to the higher-up bosses not providing information? Just a thought. I would thoroughly recommend both the car and the dealership.
Amazing service! Abdul went above and beyond for us from start to finish, from the 1st phone call we made he was amazing. We had a lot of questions and he was able to answer everyone with he car knowledge (we bought Audi not Toyota). The car need a few things done to it and again Abdul made sure they was all going to get done for us to be happy driving away our car. We can’t wait to pick it up when it’s ready. The reception lady was also kind to our children making sure they was well watered thank you again
