Absolutely awful experience. The customer service is terrible; they can barely communicate in proper English, making every conversation a nightmare. The restaurant riders are consistently unable to find my location, leading to late deliveries every single time. I've encountered technical issues repeatedly, making the whole process even more frustrating.To make matters worse, the Talabat app just canceled my order 15 minutes after I placed it, without any notification from the beginning. This happened at midnight, making the situation even more frustrating. This isn't a one-time issue; it's happened multiple times. I won't be using this service again.
Definitely a company that should not be preferred. Even though 2 hours have passed, they still haven't delivered an order that took 40 minutes. They don't say it for a valid reason. They ruined my Sunday. I think I'll have to wait another hour. Help Center sent a 15 dirham voucher as an apology. 15 AED for my 3 hours and Sunday!!!
I wish there was a negative rating possible. The rider decided to cancel the order after lying that he is on the way while he was not even on the road. Ordered food to enjoy with my friend who came to see me at work and I had to send him without having lunch and they said that Rider's Bike had a MINOR problem which took one and a half hour to rectify. They gave a 15 dirham voucher and then I tried to place order again it said add another 20 dirhams for using the voucher. While if you remove the voucher it goes through to the payment. Liar Cheaters and pathetic excuses given by the customer care.
Talabat is probably the only company which has the capacity to make any customer unhappy. They are absolutely a slow-moving team, non-starters, poor service level. In last 3 days, I have called their customer care may be more than 100 times only to hear "All circuits are busy at the moment, please call us later". Their managers are even worse. Nobody picks the phone, dont see whatsapp message for long and hardly reply.
Super bad with service. We ordered groceries, the driver brought absolutely wrong items after 2 hours after order and the team didn’t exchange or find any solution. Only what they said it was “I understand, Sir” I really don’t Ben know what exactly did they “understand” as there was no cure for this situation.
So so so bad. Worst delivery service I have experienced. We gave correct location and still the driver reached wrong location and delivered my order to someone else!?? The driver is not accepting his mistake we also put correct location in talabat app but still he reached somewhere else completely. The talabat team is also not accepting their mistake and saying it is restaurant fault very very horrible and unprofessional honestly I recommend everyone to use other delivery platforms instead of talabat because this is so unprofessional and completely unacceptable.
I had worst experience with Talabat in entire process including customer service channel. My order was delivered midnight after 3 hours perpetual follow ups. Customer service Channel-Mr Hamza, Mr Ali lied multiple times at every 10 minutes with new scripts. Due to their lies I did not cancel my order otherwise I would have cancelled and reordered my meal. I had worst experience with them.Upon complaint it is stated that case is resolved without taking my satisfactory opinion at any ground. Simply they are happy to close the issue without any proper solution and customer’s satisfactory. I’m rating zero star for Talabat due to their worst customer service.
Order didn't arrive and not the first time. 45 mins late from the expected delivery time, a call from Talabat asking if the order had arrived! Surely Talabat knows when the delivery has happened? They said they would follow up. No one called again. When I called the driver he said it was delivered. And if we haven't received it, tough luck! The chat on Talabat said delivery has not happened.... total scam from Talabat. They closed the chat. No one speaks clear English.
