Multiple times wrong orders delivered. Multiple times Talabat blame restaurant. Just had conversation with their "support" staff after wrong drink was delivered where I was told they could not bring correct drink even if restaurant was happy to provide correct drink. Talabat has to be the biggest jamokes in the food delivery game!
Talabat Cairo....worst order experience ever, received only 2 sandwiches of the ordered 3 sandwiches, had to contact customer service as there was 3 sandwiches on invoice, they were insisting that all the sandwiches left the shop and were indirectly implying that I am l lying.... they made me so upset that I ended up paying all 3sandwiches in the end just to end all of this arguing. they put compensation in our talabat account which was less than the missing sandwich which I paid.... but in the end it is not about the money but the way I was treated from customer service
my last order was a very bad quality , I complain to TALABAT through their live chat , the agent was rude and offer 8 AED compensation for a 50 AED MEAL , when I told her it's not about compensation , it's about health espically if there are kids eating , she answered,"what's the purpose of this chat then?".They didn't even bother themselves to record a complain against the restaurant. very poor customer service , zero customer satisfaction.
It is agreed with the restaurants in the application that the request is made through the credit card only, and then the request is delayed or rejected and they refund the amount, but it remains in the payment requests to force you to use it through them only (Talabat bay)
Talabat Driver did not give my change of AED127 until now. The driver said he will get a change and didn't return back. With multiple follow ups they give the same reason what ashamed! and when asking the driver's number they said 'I'm sorry we can't as per Talabat's policy we cant share" How about honesty policy???? We can resolve the issue as easy as ABC provide the driver's number and will sort out the issue. It's been 3days and no update.
Talabat is one of the worst services I have ever experienced. Not just once, or 5 times or 10 times but over 50 times where I have been disappointed at the lack of quality by Talabat to deliver food on time. The worst part is they blame the restaurants for being delayed when it is 100% them at all times. They do not have enough drivers so they lie, then keep delaying the order until a driver is found and if he is coming from 45 mins away, your food sits cold and then is delivered cold. The entire time Talabat will lie about it and tell you it is the restaurant’s fault. I cannot state enough how bad of a company Talabat is and everyone knows it...
eveytime I use this app for food delivery something goes wrong. They really have no concern for customer service and it’s always somebody else’s fault. Why is it so bad Talabat? Deliveroo is efficient, fast and easily traceable, so my advise would be to use this app instead!
