High quality engagement ring and process

I have found Taylor and Hart online in a list of recommended shops for buying engagement ring.I found a couple of rings and diamonds that fits my needs in their website, and I have scheduled a consultation session with them to understand more about the process. The next available session is around a week later.Janaya is my advisor, and she is really patient and helpful to walk me through some options and how to choose an engagement rings. She answered all my questions, helped me to judge what ring size is the best (she uses her great experience to make a judgement from a photo, & they offer re-sizing service). I decided to order and pay the same night.It takes around 28 days for the process, and there are emails to let you know the process. On the day of collection, staffs are kind and show me the ring, telling me some after-sale processes (e.g. re-sizing, insurance).All in all, I am happy to go with Taylor & Hart for buyinh my engagement ring.

Lovely customer service

Great experience wedding ring shopping with Tayla. Really great customer service and such a lovely experience. She was very patient with us while we went back and forth on lots of different options but in the end we were really pleased with the rings we bought!

Couldn't ask for more

The journey was simple and supported throughout! Before coming across Taylor & Hart, admittedly, it all felt very overwhelming, with more to consider than I’d first thought.I want to give special thanks to Douglas Rosen and Emma Carter, who handled my many questions promptly and with such care.The design process was enjoyable, and I learnt so much. The ring arrived on the expected date.Thank you so much for taking part and helping me create something special.Ps, she said yes!

Taylor & Hart returns/exchange policy…

Taylor & Hart returns/exchange policy needs review in my opinion as they reel you in with a 90 day returns however if you exchange a ring then you are no longer eligible for a return/refund?This is poor, like what if I am not happy with the exchange (which I am not) what if the consumer is not happy with the quality? That’s it just stuck with a ring you are not satisfied with? There is no offer of we accept the return with a restocking charge which is outrageous.I now have a ring I am not satisfied with just sitting there in a box unworn!MAKE SURE YOU READ THE RETURNS POLICY BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY THAT THE RETURN IS VOID AFTER AN EXCHANGE!Reply to T&H: Quite Frankly I believe you make this up as you go along, I can see from other reviews that customers have had similar experiences (one of which you gave a full refund to and allowed an exception to your T&C’s/returns or refunds policy.I can also confirm one of your designers is not in touch with me at all and this has never gone any further, I am still stuck with the ring I purchased which has not been removed from its box.Given the fact I see you have made an exemption to your returns/ refunds policy I will now be seeking advice from the financial ombudsman. I will also be reporting you to watchdog.

Whole experience was fantastic

Whole experience was fantastic. Emily made it very personal and fun and guided me through exactly what everything meant in terms of what I was looking for. I was unsure on everything going in, but after an hour's consultation - I'd confidently found the perfect ring having been giving info, options and great advice.

Brilliant from start to finish

Brilliant from start to finish - easy to use website with a great selection to choose from. Found exactly what I was looking for and received some great help from Maria Lalana who helped me make a couple of changes to the ring. The ring arrived on time and has been well received by anyone that's seen it! Very happy!

Awful Aftercare/Communication

My experience of designing the ring and sourcing the diamonds was good. Flor in particular was fantastic and was extremely supportive. Unfortunately, when Flor was away the service/responsiveness dropped off completely, this should have been a sign of things to come. When I got the ring, I was happy with it, other than that it was too large. When it came to resize the ring, I spent days trying to get hold of various members of customer support, who provided generic answer and sent "booking" links that didn't work. When I finally managed to book in an inspection we were told 15 working days to inspect/resize and that it would need to be reduced by 3, 3/4 sizes. We were told at the time by the team member who took the ring that there was nothing to pay which was a surprise as we’d been told we would need to pay a fee. I chased a number of times for the "inspection" to be concluded as we had a couple of celebratory events scheduled that we wanted the ring for (post the quoted turnaround time). After 7 of those working days we were told that after inspection it would need to be reduced 3 3/4 sizes (which was made clear on drop off) and we would be charged to resize it, not a surprise but poor/confusing communication. The worst part of this was that I was informed it would take another 24 working days to get back. Woeful communication and aftercare means we have missed showing off the ring to families who live abroad and it has certainly put a bit of a damper on the engagement celebrations. Having ordered the original ring on the 10th April, other than a brief few days to waiting to propose in the middle we will be getting the ring back (fingers crossed) and finished on the 18th July. As nice as the diamonds and setting might end up being, I would warn anyone thinking of using Taylor & Hart in the future.
