Review Time
The terrarium I ordered came extremely well-wrapped and protected which was good as the box got bashed about in Xmas post! The plants are in excellent condition and seem very happy. I emailed a question when it arrived and got a prompt and helpful response so it's all good. My only query is about the LED lights: if they go inside the terrarium (which looks lovely), but you want to turn off at night in a bedroom, you would have to be opening the stopper every time to do this and isn't that bad for the ecosystem inside? So, still a bit confused on that one and we haven't opened the lights yet...but overall a lovely terrarium.
I was very pleased with the amethyst secret garden ecosystem, as it was a present . It was bigger than it looked in the picture . The recipient was impressed with the way it had been safely packed which is a nice change these days . I had it delivered a little early incase anything went wrong . Only one little request , it would be nice to have instructions with it and description of the plants in it .I will have to buy one myself , very impressed .
I received the Urban Advent Calendar as a moving in gift from my children and was very excited to open it. The first day was great with a hanging ceramic pot with succulent. The second was a bit confusing with lights and small wooden round. However, over the following days I opened up the windows to find some really nice pots and plants. Unfortunately, my excitement was dashed on opening up a window to see a bag of bulbs? Living in a space with no out door space I found this very disappointing, especially to find later two more days with the same "grow your own" plants. To top it off today the 24th, all ready for the big one, only to find a glittered twig with a stump of a sad air plant in a glass sphere! I too have taken images each day to send to my family, but too embarrassed to send todays. So disappointed overall with the quality and cost of the calendar. I would of asked for one next year but not so sure now. :(
This is such a beautiful product. Ordering easy, user-friendly page, prompt delivery & I think the recipient is going to love this Christmas present. But, the care details were not inside the box & the order form had fallen off the box on delivery. I have asked someone at customer care twice to email them to me but no joy. She was so nice & polite. Still, I wish they could be sent. Never mind, I’ll figure it out but the product is delightful
My ecosystem arrived really quickly and was beautifully packaged. It was a gift for my husband who is thrilled with it. Unfortunately the cork lid didn’t fit properly but the company responded instantly online and are sending out a replacement. Excellent customer service.
Originally I was disappointed with the ecosphere I received as it did not look like the picture and didn't have many plants in it but after emailing The Urban Botanist they immediately sent out some extra plants which I have now placed in the ecosphere and I am now very happy with the purchase and I am sure my brother will love his present.
