Review Time
I recently received an email to alert me that the event I was attending was being changed and that my tickets were cancelled. I was advised that I would be automatically refunded within a few business days. After waiting many weeks for the refund to appear in my account I contacted Ticketmaster. It took them a couple of business days to respond to my refund request but the refund was back in my account a couple of days later.Given that the tickets were being cancelled by the event organiser, however, I should not have had to initiate contact in order to get my refund. I know they are asking for patience with the COVID situation but that's been going for the past 18 months. If they can't work things out by now then why not?
In the first instance, I was promised a refund within 3-5 days but that didn't happen. Hence the frustrating follow-up. All other reviews mention people by name. I worked from the email detailing the process but in My Account, there was no clickable reference to the Ottolenghi tickets I had purchased. I had to work very hard to get to a person through the Chat. No explanation about why it hadn't been repaid after the cancellation.
