Review Time
Try and ring them. Disaster. There is only 1 contact number 0818400600 to deal with everything. I got no explanation as to why my item is recorded to have cleared customs and then 2 days later it is back in customs for clearance. They gave me a number to call 016860605. I am now on hold 47 minutes. I need to hang up and get on with my life. Added 27th October. No further developments on my package. It appears to have been lost or stolen while in their care. TNT don't know which. I am very surprised that FedEx are not that concerned with TNT performance. Perhaps FedEx are fine with this.
After no response via email, I called in to try and get some information on a parcel that's been sitting with TNT for 1 week and who haven't been in touch with our customer with an update. The 'customer services' man sounded like he was in a rush and annoyed, so I mentioned that I felt he was trying to end the conversation as I felt rushed and I was told by him that he thought I was 'rude' for saying so. It sounds like that department needs some major customer services training.
I was trying to order shipment online. Page went 3 times to error on payment page. After few days i discovered that they took payment from my bank but here was no shipment conformation or history in TNT system. I contacted TNT few times but they didn't took any action to refund this error transactions. I'm applying for chargeback to my bank.

My parcel is now in the Tallaght depot for over 1 month.. infuriating service. The customs clearance process is a joke, they wash their hands of it saying that they have no influence in the process, well why have every other delivery company not got the same problem? Even if they have no influence in the process, they could make some effort to give you some detailed feedback about that status of the parcel. It's an absolute sham of a company. Same automatic responses when you try to enquire about the status of your parcel. The order status updates every day with the same line "Shipment arrived at TNT location". Pathetic. If I see that TNT are processing any of my orders from now on, I'll be immediately cancelling the order. No reputable seller would deal with a company like this. Worst of the worst.
absolutely useless, package has been in the country for over a week and have sent it on the wrong van numerous times, keep telling me it'll arrive the next day and no sign of it, also ended up in a different county for a few days, numerous phone calls and endless excuses from them
TNT Ireland are UselessMy package was due for delivery 12.04.21 but each day it kept saying it was held at Tallaght for shipping. It had it had cleared customs but then it says - customs is due pay receiver and the receiver has been contacted. I didn't receive any form of communication. so i rang the English number given online and they were kinda helpful. they told me that customs needed to be paid on the package and i needed to contact the revenue customs (which i knew wasn't the way it goes) so i did contact the revenue. They were helpful with the limited information i had and could tell me the the courier was to charge me for the customs upon delivery, which is the normal. So i contacted TNT again and they tole me this time to email the Dublin clearance off of their organisation and they would sort it. 3weeks later this department has not returned an communication. The email correspondence i have form the general support contact also emailed this department to say process my package and charge me the customs/duties due but this no reply. I have seen from other reviews that some people waited nearly 3months to get their package from TNT Tallaght. 1Star rating for TNT Tallaght is too high.
