I am currently degoogling.I was searching for an e-mail account to use next to my Proton. I wanted a place for all my newsletters and notifications.The factors that I wanted to have in an e-mail provider are that it runs on complete green energy, respects your privacy, has a superb interface, has apps on all the platforms I use.Tuta does this all.Furthermore it has excellent customer support, top notch security and the calendar app has surprised me pleasantly.I am currently considering buying vouchers so I can pay for the next ten years.Yeah, I am thát content. I have confidence that Tuta has my back.
Great email, great customer service. Very reasonable pricing for an excellent security/privacy focused email service. When I have had problems, support has always been friendly and helpful, and I feel confident that my data is secure and not being combed and sold.
Was a long time free subscriber and recently purchased a subscription. The platform is ever evolving and introducing new features and enhancements and are done in the right way. Tuta listen and act on feedback which is great for the community and the product overall. Keep up the great work.
It's working until you need something.We was a paying customer for 1 year. The first red flags was there already on the beginning. - Unclear pricing (charged us two times)- Loooong responses from support- Broken invoice (duplicate bill numbers, broken codepage, ...)Later we decided to cancel the service, wait until our period ends and move to somewhere else. So subscription was canceled.Of course we forgot to move our MX records. Tuta completely blocked us without any notice, our business emails was gone. We quickly moved our MX records to other service and started to communicate with Tuta about unlocking our account and at least download our old emails.And another hell began. They unlocked our account, charged us for another year which we didn't wanted.Downgrading to free plan is not possible "for reasons", replies takes their standard 20 - 60 hours and support workers are not helpful at all.If you have any serious business or use case, keep your hands of this service. It't not worth it.
Using their product for 3 months now. Total waste of money, most useless and unreliable they are just piece of crap do not pay them they are scammers and most of their services are fake. DO not recommend to anyone to waste money on them. They are a team of fools.
The mail account has been locked sincethe last month mai. Both password and recovery phrase are not accept.Reasons: unknown. The company ignores allcommunication.Tuta did ignore protest about disapeared emailssome weeks before. Instead an answer theyflooded the account daily with advertisements.______________________Tuta has got enough information to understandthat the account has to be opened NOW after over 5 month illegal blocking. The company should commit the access here for the public too. My protest on Trustpilot was nessesary to get a reaction by Tuta.Open the account without tricks, lyings or additonal contacts. Contact and message are clear to understand.There have been mails disapeared. Tuta ignored all protests. Instead the company did flood the account with advertisements. Stop this.hst
In many ways an e-mail provider which I would like to like, but since their spam protection nearly non-existent I can't recommend it to anyone. I signed up for a year, but after two months I'm already about to leave. The only reason I haven't left yet is that I'm trying to make a more well-informed choice this time around. Leaning towards either Proton or Mailbox now; both European providers with a reputation for handling spam decently.I really hope they eventually manage to create a decent service, but it's not there yet.
