There seems to be a common theme with…

There seems to be a common theme with Irish couriers and UPS in Ireland are certainly not one to buck the trend. The tracking information is useless. Packages showing a date to be delivered on are not delivered and tracking information shows as being in Finglas in Dublin.I rang them and got through to a real person who eventually told me the package was sitting in a trailer waiting to be sorted. She was honest and admitted she couldn't tell me when it would be sorted much less when it might be delivered. All she could tell me is that it has been released from customs and is in a trailer awaiting sorting. So its been with UPS in Ireland now for over 24 hours and is not yet sorted. There must be hundreds of other packages in the trailer that people are waiting for that will not be delivered on the time promised by UPS. How do you not manage to sort a hole trailer for over 24 hours? It's not like you can miss a trailer, they're kinda big!Utterly useless and inaccurate tracking information. I'm going to avoid companies who use UPS for their deliveries in Ireland. Is it too much to ask for a company to do what it says it will do? With UPS in Ireland it seems so.This is not the first time this has happened which is why I rang them. The explanation really was incredulous but at least the lady admitted she didn't know when it might be delivered. So in conclusion, UPS in Ireland join a list of couriers who are not really couriers in the sense that a courier business deliver packages when they say they will but are more a company who will take your money and might eventually deliver a package if they get around to it. UPS in Ireland, quit ripping people off and either get out of the business of not delivering packages or get a reality check and do your bloody job. Its companies like this that give Ireland the title "rip off Ireland..."

Awful service of Irish UPS

Awful service of Irish UPS! This company was once at the top in terms of quality, customer service and delivery times. Now it is totally unreliable, extremely slow delivery beginner-like bunch that I will never ever use again. And with the outsourced call centre in India, with people who promise you they updated your address just for you to find out they did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, nothing at all! They just lied to you on the call 🤢 Shocking! I am chasing my parcel for more than a week now and I am not even sure whether it will ever arrive. Never again! Don’t order from UPS, make them go bankrupt as they don’t deserve a penny of your money. Bunch of losers

Such an awful delivery company

Such an awful delivery company. It said it was out to be deliver in the 20/10/23…..yet still hasn’t been delivered on the 25/10/23. A joke of a company that can’t manage to communicate effectively and gives the least amount of details and help. I’d rather give my money somewhere else

SHODDY SERVICE

I was awaiting parcel from Sketchers. On checking tracking when they didn’t arrive I discovered they had attempted to deliver but no one in. There was no notice of the delivery beforehand and no option therefore to leave an instruction to leave in safe place etc. Many companies do this and it is very useful. To have this service from UPS you have to sign up with them beforehand and this is flawed as I was not aware it would be UPS delivering. Also they only open and operate Mon-Fri.

If there was a zero star I would give…

If there was a zero star I would give it. This week UPS have lost not one, not two but three orders for me. I'm absolutely disgusted with my whole experience. Tracking info is inaccurate and sparse. Customer care is Customer Couldn't Care. All in all they are the most incompetent delivery company in the world. They even wanted 152 EUR tax for an order from Turkey that I paid 148 EUR for including delivery. This was one of my orders they lost!!!!!!! Avoid like the plague.

Imagine the WORST service possibe, It's UPS! If you want your parcel to be delivered to Irealnd. req

According to (false?) tracking updates my parcel was transported for a whole week from Monday morning until Friday somewhere in Dublin, with no will to deliver it. I could not be more helpful with my phone calls to UPS. UPS doesn't care about the overall result, they write lies into the tracking system instead. It really looks like they did it on purpose to not deliver the parcel. It can't be possible that the company is that badly managed or/and employees are that stupid. After a whole week of struggle and hours of calling UPS Help desk, they sent the parcel back to the shipper. There is no point in calling HelpDesk as they cannot do anything instead they write fake updates in the tracking system, i.e. I updated the delivery address, or the delivery date has been changed on my request. All lies! A whole week of false tracking updates and, not actioning my requests, false promises that someone who has access to the process and drivers will call me back. just a sample:"19/10/202313:19 We are trying to get the security access our driver needs for this delivery.Dublin, Ireland(ANOTHER false update, nobody tried to get access, and neither the driver nor depot contacted to ask for access or to inform that the driver is waiting at the gate)(The access procedure was already well known to customer service after my phone calls.I called again as I could not believe that my updates were ending in a black hole and internal communication in UPS did not exist.I asked where is my parcel, advisor was not able to provide the location, 'Maybe it was at my address maybe in the depot' It was recommended that I can maybe drive one hour to the depot to check if the parcel was there. I agreed that if for whatever strange reason the driver is not able to deliver to my address It can be delivered to the collection point insteadNIKE FACTORY ASFORD , EUROCYCLES , DUBLIN 12, DU , D12YNY5 , IEIt has been updated and confirmed, but then the parcel has been shipped back to the sender. " Nightmare! A dude on a bicycle would do it much better! I wasted time and money. I have to request money back from the shop and I do not have my desperately awaited goods, which causes more financial costs.

Worst courier company ever

Too many issues with UPS across the last 2 years, delivery always late, they justify with "driver need an access code", btw no access code needed, no call from drivers, no ring the bell, looks like that the drivers are just going around with no reason. Last order I have asked if possible to collect the parcel in a collection point, well, they delivered but they forgot to provide me the code to open the locker. All the time that I have to deal with UPS it is a nightmare. I personal avoid suppliers that use UPS, but sometimes Amazon using them. Also I would like to add that there is no communication between customer care and depot, CS provide solutions but at the end depot Does the opposite. Very disappointed

Awful experience

Awful experience! Customer service isn’t helpful as much. They’re just good in telling you they will help you get your package but don’t really do much. System and texts always tell you delivery was attempted but no one calls or even comes knocking on your doorstep. I should’ve receive my package on the 12th of October and it’s been a week of saying delivery was attempted but nothing really came.

Scandalous customer service

This review has only been given 1star as there was not an option for zero stars!!!! Never in my life have I encountered such poor customer service. It started when the driver attempted delivery to the wrong address. No phone call was made so that delivery could be rectified.Contacted them following day, asked if I could collect parcel from local pick up point, advised that this would take 1-2days however if I left it as delivery to home it would be delivered the next day. I was given assurance that this was the quickest way to get my delivery. The following day I checked the tracking, it was not showing out for delivery. I rang and was informed that it was definitely on the van but the driver had yet to scan it. An hour later I received an email advising delivery had been put on hold. Another phone call, informed that the sender had requested a hold be put on delivery. Can't see how that is legal? The sender has my money and UPS refuse to deliver??? Challenged this with customer representative and eventually I was advised that my parcel would definitely be delivered today and that I would receive a phone call within the hour. An hour passed, no phone call!!!Spent another 90mins on the phone only to be told it would now be delivered on Monday.Am I frustrated that I have not received my parcel?YES but what I can't take is all the lies that they have told me. I could drive to the depot and try and collect it but it's a 110km round trip and to be honest I can't be certain that the parcel is actually there.
