Mercedes Warranty

I have a Mercedes Vito that is 24months old and still well within the manufacturer’s warranty. On Monday 4th.March on my way back from Halifax the message came up on the dash saying ‘ Reduce Engine Oil Level ‘. I’m well aware of the damage that can result to an engine that is being worked with too much oil in the system. Because of this message I called into Ceciley Commercials of Bolton to see if they were able to resolve the problem. Unfortunately they said as the service had been carried out at the Mercedes main agents in Stockport it was their problem to sort out and any work that they ( Ceciley ) carried out to rectify the problem would be chargeable to me . I thought that makers warranty was a global cover throughout the Mercedes network , apparently not . I’m both disappointed and alarmed that this may not be the case but I’m also critical of the rather patronising and condescending attitude shown by the receptionist who dealt with ( or rather ) didn’t deal with the problem.

Very disappointed

Very disappointed , I took my car under warranty to check my driver side mirror not folding, after few days I was awaiting.I went to collect my car in merceds-Benz colindale , I saw scratch all over my mirror Cover. "I had a disappointing experience with Mercedes-Benz Colindale. I've been waiting for the past three days to check the camera To see if im wright. and determine if the damage was caused by Mercedes. Unfortunately, no one has gotten back to me, and I'm still waiting for a response. The lack of communication and delay in addressing my concern is highly disappointing. As a customer, I expected better service and prompt assistance. I hope Mercedes-Benz takes this feedback seriously and improves their customer service."And manager not helpful at all.

Mercedes’s Cambridge

Bought a new car from Mercedes Cambridge.Good service but they took a holding deposit for the log book which arrived three days later. Three weeks later still haven’t received the £500 back even with ringing and emails beware this is a complete con and no other dealerships do this. Now having to go through the chargeback process. Last car I buy from them. Mercedes in general are very poor now no management no customer service and terrible franchises.

FAULTY CAR - MERCEDES IGNORING ME

Not going into massive amounts of detail here as im sick of typing about Mercedes and getting nowhere but essentially they have sold me a faulty vehicle (brand new) and ignoring me in the hope ill go away. Raised issues with Mercedes in March, ive emailed them about 20 times, its not August and ive heard from them once to say "they are looking into it" i just want the car fixed so i feel safe. Im 8 months pregnant and im too scared to drive my own car! NEVER BUY FROM ANY MERCEDES!

New car with issues

It has taken me over 2 years to share my experience with Mercedes Chelsea as life has thrown me a curve ball. Now I am back on track.I purchased a new Mercedes GLA 250e in September 2021 a 71 plate. By around March 2022, I noticed that the car boot door was opened even though I locked it. So, I monitored and true, even after locking the door using the key, the car boot door would open by itself afterwards. I booked an appointment at the Chelsea branch by Jews Row, which is now permanently closed. The verdict was some mechanical part which needed either replacing or adjusting. As this part was not under the Mercedes warranty, I would need to pay for it. The car clocked less than 2000 miles around March 2022 so I confronted to the sales rep. It was agreed that this charge would be voided as a good will gesture. The car was returned by to me very soon. The boot was tested before I left the depot. Somehow the next day, the same thing happened. The door did not close tightly and I must give it a firm push in order to lock the boot. I then returned the car back to the depot. Sometimes it locked, sometimes it didn’t lock. The third visit, instead of going back home, I drove around and stop somewhere to test out the door. Same thing happened. Door cannot be closed without pressing down. Back I went. This time, the manager and one of the mechanics met with me. I showed them the problem. This was what was explained:The problem was the lock of the rear seats. If the seats are down and I wanted to bring them back up, I must tilt them at a certain angle, and let go very gently, otherwise the lock will not engage properly. The rear door will detect it (something technical) as the privacy cover could not align and hence the rear door would not lock. By pressing down manually, I would be forcing the door to close and would create some sort of wear of tear as time goes by.The car was left at the depot over the Easter weekend and by around the 6th visit. They finally found out the true problem which was an adjustment /alignment of the lock on the car boot which had nothing to do with the lock on the rear seats. If I knew I had to learn to tilt the seats at a certain angle. I would have never bought the car. This is not normal daily usage. I cannot remember how many times I had to drop the car off and collect the car when it was ‘ready’, this would be 4 journeys each time. Around 5 or 6 times. This could be 20 or 24 journeys in total.I am sure there are millions of satisfied customers out there. I took the car to West London Mercedes this year for a service and that was fine. As far as the 2022 episode goes, not customer service but customer stress.

I have S Class 69 Plate I went to…

I have S Class 69 Plate I went to Loughton Mercedes for diagnose my car they charge me £222 for diagnosed Loughton Mercedes diagnosed My Car have injector problem need to replace All 6 injector will quote me £3700.then after to make sure the problem I went to Mercedes approved garage To my dismay, the technician at this workshop identified the actual issue to be a broken rocker, rather than the injectors as previously diagnosed at your dealership. They promptly rectified the problem and even provided me with video evidence showcasing the broken parts.I have been fixed my car from them, My Car driving perfectly now it means the Loughton Mercedes technician diagnose wrong and charge me money for nothing. Please be careful with this Friends I did complain. Nobody bother to call me back or contact me. Even I left a review on Google. I don’t know how the remove from there. I am thoroughly disappointed with the incorrect diagnosis and I have been using Mercedes vehicles for the past 20 years but now thinking to go with different make car I have proof copy of repair my car from approved garage Mercedes and I have a copy of wrong diagnose Mercedes Loughton and charge £220
