I can only warn others to stay away from this company. According to AI, Vantique’s reported USA address in Washington DC has been a dead mall since 2021 and there is no American Quilt design company at the Washington DC mall address. My quilts were shipped direct from China using China express track 17. When they reached the USA, East coast, the tracking number was changed. Now the USPS or UPS or Fed Ex do not know the Vantique company or China Tracking # Origin. You have no way to leave a refused delivery notice for Vantique as your package is now from AMY in New Hampshire. Vantique is not accredited by the BBB but have 14 complaints against them to the BBB and they have not responded to any of them. Please read the many comments saying the blanquets that arrived look nothing like their website are a silkscreen of a quilt stiched onto a poor quality blanket. I write this so no more people will get burned. Paypal decided in my favor and refunded my money. Shut them out with compassion.
Ordering process was easy. I decided to change the order to a different pattern and I received an immediate response from customer service that assured me that the change will take place. The product arrived on time and it was exactly what I was expecting. Product is well made and exactly as presented on the website. Would buy from store again.
I wanted to give an update on my progress to obtain a refund from Vantique.net. I AM GETTING A REFUND! I have had four email conversations with the customer service address provided and each one has been the same. The product is not defective, we stand by our "20% difference", you're not getting a refund, sorry you had this experience. I eventually filed a claim with Paypal. The main company in China never responded after 7 days or so and I was then given an opportunity to escalate it directly to Paypal. When contacting paypal I did the following that I think helped: 1) Sent photos from their website of the products I had purchased. 2) Sent photos of what I received. 3) Provided detailed information about what "quilted" was supposed to look like, what quilting was actually on the quilt and the fact that there was no quilt batting between the fabric 4) Told Paypal to read the reviews on Trust Pilot. I received a response within a week indicating that I am getting a full refund. I do have to mail the quilts back to China--I don't care--I want my refund. There will be a fee to do this---I don't care. At this point, it is the principle of it. Even if the shipping is 1/2 the cost of my refund---these people are not getting away with it. I encourage all of you that keep getting turned away for refunds to take the next step. Now we shall see how long it takes--no refund applied until they receive it...but Paypal asks for proof of the shipping label so they know it was sent. IT IS STILL LESS THAN A 1* EXPERIENCE BECAUSE THE COMPANY IS SUCH AS SCAM. They count on people to give up on the refund process. Do Not Give Up!! I also filed a complaint with the attorney general in the state where they have a US address as well as with the FTC.
Don’t buy from them, you get nothing like what is pictured in the advertisement and their return policy is made so they will not give you a refund no matter what. They also take forever to ship it to you probably so you can’t dispute it to your credit card company. These are not handmade. They are cheap mass produced products and the stitching doesn’t even match the pattern and looks terrible.its not 20 percent different it’s 90 percent different than the picture. Bait and switch all the way. A polite customer service that doesn’t do anything doesn’t make up for a bad product. They need to be shut down.
Well I received my undersea/coral quilt/two shams last week....I absolutely loved all the choices on the vantique website, esp. all the sea life/turtles, coral,,,etc...I had a hard time making up my mind. But wow...I couldn't have been more disappointed...cheap fabric...thin...nothing and I mean nothing looked like the gorgeous photos on the site....And to make it worse, I have emailed them 5 times in the last 24 hours and have not gotten any response...I want my money back!! The quilt is thin, non-reversible, looks like it was made by a machine...nothing custom about it...doesn't even have a "quilt" pattern that looks 3D/raised material...I got totally scammed for sure....so disappointed...
