Although slow to get engineers out to us. The two engineers that came Derek and Jamie were really helpful and knowledgeable and sorted our problems quickly and also boosted our rooter power and updated software while they were here. Top job
Originally booked for September, only just been installed 21st of November! The delay was due to engineers walking out which is never a good sign - confirmed by your customer service line. Installation was started 21/11/25, however the internet can’t be turned on because the fibre couldn’t be blown due to a blockage 185m away from the property. Now having to wait for the road to be dug up to repair cable. I have had no communication from wildanet on when this will be done and my sky broadband is due to finish in 4 days - if I was anyone looking at wildanet - don’t bother. Communication is poor, civils team were awful - left the outside in a right mess, the only team that were good were the installation team - very apologetic about the issue with the cable etc and tried to help the best they could
Appalling service from this company- because I complained yesterday,a visit by an engineer has now been put back to Monday ,with no time of day stipulated- buyer beware they charge £75 if a responsible person isn't on site when they bother to call! Not good for vulnerable adults like us! As a Cornishman I rue the day I thought buying local would be a good thing! Never again!
A sales guy called on 11th Nov a survey was booked for 20th Nov.MaTT G & Matt T arrived to do the survey, no,we are here to install. They did & it works fine.The work was very neatly carried out, consulted all the way. Has been fed up for years paying fibre prices for 10 megs & no hope of fibre being installed by the large companies. The only sticking point had been ending contract early charges.With the Wildanet deal no problem. I gave a 5 star rating as that's how it is right now,long may it continue.
Day one, installation day! Matt the engineer called and looked at the lay of the land. After speaking to his supervisor it was deemed too dangerous to carry out the installation, which should have been picked up by the initial survey, Whether the survey was a paper exercise or actual physical look on site I wouldn't know as no one called at my house. I agreed with the Health and Safety aspect.Rescheduled for 12 days later, this time there was a team of 3 (Matt, Derek, Jamie) with "cherry picker".Now we are talking 5 star. What a team, not like some teams with one man working and 4 looking on.After installation they took me through splitting the "bands" (5 and 2.4) It was a pleasure to watch these guys work and 3 ish hours later all was done.Initial speeds as advertised and Nokia app also performing well. Time will tell.Shame about dropping one star.
Called the Sales Desk to discuss moving to Wildanet after receiving a mail drop. Call answered promptly by Tom Gould. Excellent Customer Service, knowledgeable answers to my 'off the wall' questions, nothing was too much trouble and he instilled me with confidence so much so that I placed the order. Thank you Tom - you need a pay rise!!
