Title: Extremely Disappointed – Would Give 0 Stars if Possible

I left 2degrees a year ago due to a poor experience, but their retention team recently contacted me with what sounded like a great deal on both broadband and mobile plans. Unfortunately, the experience this time has been even worse.On the day I was supposed to be connected, my broadband plan was $10 more expensive than what was discussed. To make matters worse, both of my mobile plans were not even activated, and the customer service team had no record of them.After spending over 80 minutes on the phone, being transferred between mobile and broadband departments, I was told that if I cancelled, I would be charged a $199 early termination fee — for a service I hadn’t even used!This is by far the worst provider I’ve dealt with. And yet, they want to win the People’s Choice Award? Please vote against them — they don’t deserve it.

A very pissed off customer
Customer service absolutely sucks

Customer service absolutely sucks. Multiple people in the support center asking for the same information but no-one taking ownership and actually helping. I paid my account and two weeks later, countless emails and phone calls and they have now suspended my service for not paying my account. REALLY.

ZERO customer service

A very big fat ZERO if I could rate . Their contact centre staffs are rude and not well trained. They played a message while you wait referring to being kind to their staffs. But how the hell you expect customers to be kind to you where your staffs are so rude to start the conversation and they all sounds like they don’t want to work at all. No wonder people get angry. I’m not angry I just moved my business elsewhere. Stuffed you

Changing addresses why so hard to do...

We are changing addresses and need to move accounts to new home. This appears that this cant be done online like other providers.you can google search "2degrees chang homes" provides a link then wants you to login then that avenue disappears. so 1/2 hour waiting on the phone trying to talk with an indian who can hardly understand english is bloody frustrating

These bad reviews are deserving

Dodgy and poor service. I switched from Spark to the 2Degrees $80 full unlimited, some of the worst connections you can get insanely slow speeds in the cbd. Im paying for max speed (300+mbps) and it was good at first but now you'll be lucky to get 5G in Wellington CBD, mostly 4G+ getting 2-10mbps. Lets not forget the fees. Wanna pay your bill? Lets charge you a fee to do so. Wanna add a watch to your plan? Pay $5 but dont forget the additional service fee. In the end for an $85 bill I was paying nearly $90-97 for an absolutely terrible connection.And don't even bother tryna cancel your plan. They make it as inconvenient as possible, call them sit on hold just to have a salesperson try stalling you out not to cancel and after all that they'll forget to even process the cancellation. I still haven't been able to cancel my plan.

Its worst ever customer service had while ask them to convert my pSIM to eSIM here is nightmare story.So i baught new phone Air so I needed eSIM so i went to 2degree store1st time there system crashed so come back.2nd time they sak for PHYSICAL ID which wasn’t told me by the person in store so i went back to get the id3rd time next day when i got there with my physical id and so there is new person now he ask me to show the 2 different physical id WTF, and said 1 is not enough u need 2 ID4th day when everything i have then now my e sim was blocked and will activate after 24 hours Now they ask me to come over next day 5th time. I was just about to give up.😓😓😓

Trash. They signed me up without ID or verification. I just wanted the free Amazon prime lol but now My bill has been creeping up! first as cents, now dollars… my network cuts off so often. I use their “wifi scan” and it tells me “no internet”… BETCH THATS THE WHOLE REASON IM USING THE WIFI SCAN 🤦🏾‍♂️

Absolutely terrible

Absolutely terrible, avoid these rip off clowns at all cost. Well worth going to a mobile shop. We spent almost $100 over two days, no data and couldn’t make a phone call. They just kept asking for more money and still no data. Dreadful scammers!!!
