I wouldn’t even give AutoShack a single star. The products I received — four rotors and brake pads for my Lexus — were of very poor quality, all made in China and nowhere near the standard I expected. I regret the purchase, as I lost both money and labor costs due to the parts failing.To make matters worse, AutoShack refused to issue a refund unless I provided proof of a new purchase from another supplier, which is an unreasonable policy. Overall, this was the poorest quality experience I’ve had with auto parts. I strongly advise others not to buy from them. LESSON LEARNED CHEAP = NOT GOOD !Updated Dec 2nd 2025: Based on the reply from Auto Shack customer team (below) I reached out to Auto Shack, they have an opposite opinion, saying they only send replacements (NOT REFUND) if the parts are defective. In my case the replacement parts that you will send will have the same defect, how does that in your opinion solve customer problem?!? Please speak to you customer facing department and request them to refund this order # 1271901. PLEASE I dont have time to go back and forth with different team members and discuss what your warranty policy is.... THANK YOU
I have never—ever—in my entire life dealt with such an unprofessional and despicable company. Every attempt at communication was ignored. They showed absolutely no concern about my package or where it was. The mistake was entirely theirs, yet they chose to ship with one of the worst carriers, FedEx.I sent seven emails over three days with no response. When someone finally did reply, the message contained nothing helpful—just empty, dismissive words with zero accountability. This company genuinely does not care about its customers. To them, you’re nothing more than a dollar sign. If they screw up, they simply move on to the next customer.Customer service is nonexistent. They put the wrong label on my package, which led FedEx—another incompetent company—to lose it. Had I known they used FedEx, I would have never ordered from them, even if the product were free. It makes sense that they work together—birds of a feather flock together.Update: This response is a desperate attempt to make the readers think they are trying to be concerned.. After 8 emails and a scathing review they finally decided to do some investigating.. However their information is wrong...What they're doing is making assumptions based on what they see.. They did not speak to fedex or any of the supervisors who told me they put the wrong shipping label on the box which caused the delay... The package was 200 miles from my house and then all of a sudden it went all the way across the country...Incompetent company plus incompetent carrier equals Incompetence... I have already ordered and received the part I needed within two days from another supplier...
Two years ago I purchased break pads for my minivan, I was told they have life time warranty, I did not believed it after contacted them, Today I received the front and rear pads. that makes me to buy more from Auto shack again.
They are the worst possible company to get car parts from and if you order them they give you free shipping but when it is the wrong part they wnt you to pay shipping back which in my case it was more to ship it. Ack than what I paid for the parts
I ordered a radiator from Autoshack on Ebay and it was sold as coming with a 6 month warranty. Just under 3 months later the radiator developed a large leak at a seam. I inquired with the company through Ebay messaging about their 6 month warrany and Autoshack never replied back. A couple of days later I attempted to message them again only to find that they had blocked me. Very dishonest company with low quality parts.
I ordered a full front brake set for my car. The parts arrived and came with the wrong brake pads. The rotors and calipers were correct. So since I was in the middle of the repair, I went and bought the correct pads locally so I could finish. When I contacted them I clearly explained this multiple times. Day 1 please provide year make and model of car. Day 2 please provide full vin number of car along with picture of correct and incorrect part. Day 3 does car have 5 studs and what is the size of your rotors. Day 4 was told they were in the investigation process to send return label and if I didn’t want to wait I could send them back myself at my own expense. Day 4 explained again it’s just the brake pads. Day 4 was told they did not do partial returns. They did offer to tell me what car they actually belong on if I wanted to sell them locally.
Ordered from their website said it would be delivered October 1st was never delivered even though it said it was out for delivery for the tracking then same thing for the second I'm still waiting on the 3rd and still nothing at 12:42 p.m. update they finally came in at 6:40 p.m. today October 3rd
Autoshack, order on Walmart.com, sent the wrong rotors. They wanted us to send, The VIN of our vehicle or its Year, Make, Model, Trim, and Engine. The SKU and PO number on the box that was delivered to us.2-3 photos showing the parts we received alongside the old parts for comparison. All To prove to them, that they sent the wrong part. Then when we asked to just send it back, they wanted us to pay for return shipping! I have never had to jump through so many hoops to try to send something back that was a mistake on their part in the first place!
I ordered a complete shock and strut package from your site when it came your company sent us the wrong ones and we contacted you ! We were told to send back the parts and we would get a refund but we’re not compensated for the shipping that cost us 79.00 two months later we were back to square one , not the kind of online experience I would think you would want to offer return customers order number 702-7372503-0In response to your reply you are wrong we verified that it was the other struts as they are specific and we have the texts to prove it your site sucks that you do not rectify the situation rather than issue a refund without compensation for the shipping return ! I will share these reviews far and wide as it should have been customer satisfaction rather than a partial refund !! I know lots of mechanics and I may be one person but your service was less than stellar
