Money sucker service. Avoid it! I rented three vehicle in Sibenik, Croatia.We could not terminate the ride, tried in three different park places next to the other vehicle, but based on the app message we were not in the parking zone. So, I was extremely overcharged.The app does not provide proper information how to end the ride, there is no customer service, they do not reply to my emails. I have never had such a bad experince with a service in my life. It was really frustrating to see my bank account that it was deducated 160 EUR in 22 items.
First of all, it’s very expensive to use. Secondly, it’s very dangerous! My time was over but the step still gave throttle while I wasn’t pushing the drive button. Almost flew out of my hands while I wasn’t on it. First I used it, last timeI will ever use this overpriced coffin on 2 wheels
I purchased a Promo $5 for 5 rides, for a total of $26.25 (gst). However, I only used one 5-minute ride.The Promo is valid for 72 hours---what it Doesn't say is that you forfeit the entire amount if you can't make use of it. I could understand losing the discounted ride-rate, & having the unused balance be applied to future full-rate rides.Expensive lesson learned. 5 minutes cost me $26.25. Buyer-beware.
They will overcharge your credit card and just send you generic copy/paste responses to your emails that have nothing to do with your issue. I have never been so frustrated by a customer service experience in my life. It took weeks of emailing and never got a single response to address my issue and never got my refund. Stay away from engaging with this company in any way!
The throttle on the scooter stuck and the brakes were extremely stiff, so stopping was very difficult. It caused me to crash twice before I realized. When the battery went dead with no warning, the back wheel locked up. I had to drag the heavy scooter to an official parking place. And they still claimed I abandoned it an an unofficial location.When I tried to earn the company about their faulty equipment, there was no way to do it that I could find. I’m complaining here because it eas my only option to communicate with this terrible company.
I have an account and want a refund but they refuse claiming that because PayPal is declining the payback because it’s longer than 180 days, I (ME) have to contact PayPal to solve their problem of not paying me back.and that’s that. The problem also is PayPal isn’t doing anything for me after the 180 days. So I am in a loop now, can’t use the credit can’t get my money back It’s my freaking money. Nice job BIRD. They easily can arrange a payback. It’s even stated on their FAQ page. But in reality: they refuse. I want my money back because the BIRD has flown! Nowhere a rental in sight! Customerservice is a laugh. You get in a loop and get no solution. Bird: BEWARE. Try anybody else but BIRD.Prob this review wont help. They just don’t care.
So, on terms and conditions it says that temporary 3EUR charge will be put on the card. If used less, the difference will be reimbursed. If used more, that again, DIFFERENCE between used amount and 3EUR will be charged. So I used Bird scooters twice in one day and both time I was charged the actual amount spent (which is fine) and twice charge of 3 EUR. Total of 6 EUR not so significant, but it is not acceptable. And terms and conditions ARE misleading. Very frustrating to see such things these days.Will never use them again. Use BOLT. cheaper and never anything is blocked or overcharged.Also, it took me hours to email get their helpline email address. and HeldDesk bot was useless. Everything is done for clients to get frustrated and not waste their time to return these 3 EUR
