When I spoke to the first person in store was not very helpful at all as I had no receipt , which was not offered at time of purchase- was asked to call customer services and they were able to send me a copy of the receipt - when speaking to customer service on the phone in store another gentleman said to me they could have done this for me ?? Tom in store was very helpful and the issue got resolved but just one thing as it’s Christmas and people are purchasing items for present they should take a receipt and the employees on the till should insist as not to have this issue again ? ThankYou
The staff in the toy department at the Exeter stone lane retail park have gone done themselves proud by the way they have looked after me when looking for a toy that was not on the shelves, nothing was too much trouble and they were all very polite, kind and helpful too, I cannot praise them enough. Especially during there very popular toy event last weekend. I would. To hesitate in recommending this store to purchase all your toys. Thank you Ann and you team. You’ve saved my Christmas
**Tale of Two Stores**My recent B&M adventure turned into a full-blown saga—part treasure hunt, part comedy.First stop: **East Kilbride, Kingsgate Retail Park**. I spotted a lovely piece of furniture on display but none on the shelves. When I asked a staff member for help, I basically got, *“If you can’t see it, we don’t have it.”* Inspiring stuff. After a bit of gentle persuasion (and possibly my best “I’m not leaving without an answer” face), she reluctantly checked and found two stores with stock—one being **Lanark**, a mere 45-minute trek away. Off I went.Second stop: **Lanark**. Same furniture on display, none on the floor. When I asked for help, the staff member gave me the classic, *“If it’s not there, we don’t have it,”* followed by the even more impressive, *“It could be anywhere on a pallet in the warehouse.”* Brilliant. Very reassuring. After encouraging her to maybe involve someone who actually knew what was going on, she sighed, shrugged, and fetched the manager.Enter **Loren**, the hero of this entire story. Loren swooped in, worked some managerial magic, and *found* the furniture—proving it was not, in fact, hiding on a mystical pallet in Narnia. So: **5/5 for Loren**, and **4/5 for B&M overall**—because while the prices are great, the customer service training clearly needs a reboot. A smile, some politeness, and a hint of helpfulness cost nothing… and would’ve saved me a 90-minute road trip and a mild emotional journey.Thank you, Loren. Without you, I’d still be wandering around Lanark looking for a pallet. P.S. Furniture is great and good value
Terrible customer service3 for £20 offer but when you pay they give you 2 for £20 and say the other item is on sale for £7 so you get charged £27 for 3 items that all have the sticker on them so should be part of the deal.Complain in store they don't want to accept that they are wrong and online customer service is even worse.Won't be back
