Now that's proper customer service

I contacted B&M customer services with a query about a cheap vacuum cleaner I bought from them over a year ago. Sue from customer services was straight onto my query - courteous, friendly and sorted me straight away by popping some spares in the post the same day. In an age of generally being fobbed off with scripted replies and AI automation it was refreshing to be helped by a real person who took proper ownership of my enquiry and helped me. Expectations exceeded - 10/10 to B&M.

Customer service that is actually service

Contacted customer service regarding an overpayment query (turned out to be my mistake) and they replied very quickly to completely resolve the issue. They contacted the store and got the information necessary without any hassle. The responses were not the usual automated nonsense I’ve come to expect from large companies, the responses were helpful and actually addressed the issue I’d raised, they were courteous and kind even when it was clear the error was mine. I’ve been really impressed.

Karen the supervisor and all the till staff have been absolutely amazing with helping me everytime ive come into the store and need help Karen has always gone above and beyond to help!! I had a problem with a toilet seat with…

I had a problem with a toilet seat with a stripped thread. The store wouldn’t accept it, but referred me to customer services. Once they saw the video of the problem, they not only gave me a B&M gift card for the money, they also sent the video to the manufacturer to prevent it happening again to someone else.

I had a problem with the parking company that administer the car park at Chepstow B & M store.I contacted B&M customer services who resolved the problem very quickly. I can only say that Isabelle you were brilliant and you have my grateful thanks. Well done B&M.

I really like B&M not everything is cheaper but that's the same in any shop. Quality overall of most things is pretty good.
